Click Here Saturday, August 31, 2002 Hey my noble audience, today I continued classes and I actually had some homework today. I had to write a couple paragraphs for English and then I had some math. After that, I went and talked to a registration worker and he ended up taking me to lunch. I had one of those Chick-Fil-A sandwiches. They are pretty good. After I finished there I did my homework and then made plans to take some girls to a cookout at a park about 15 minutes from here. They didn’t want to leave when the rest of their dorm was so they asked If I could take them later. So I did. It turns out by the time they wanted to leave it was 2 hours later, so by the time we go there everyone had eaten all the food. That wasn’t too good, but we ended up just going to Applebee’s for dinner. I had the all you can eat Ribs. They were mighty good. After dinner we headed to Wal-Mart for a while then finally headed back. I got here again at about 10:30 then I ran out again to do some laundry so I could have it done by curfew. My roommate came with me and when he put stuff in the dryer and set the timer he forgot to press the start button. Mine finished a half hour earlier then his because it took about that long for us to notice that the red light wasn’t on. Anyway I think we both did well for our first time doing laundry (thanks mom for doing it for me all those years) I guess we are really on our own now. Ok well I need to wake up at 7:00 tomorrow for work so I better get going. These days are really easy and I will probably not have much homework for these classes. I can use these days to study if need be. All I had today was General Education and Health. After classes today I ended up going to work. We went and worked on site at a buisness. It was pretty fun. Tonght (every thursday) our curfew is at 10:00 because we have a hall meeting then. It usually goes about an hour. We just finished ours for tonight though. Well that just about sums up the day. I didn't really do anything with freinds today, it was all buisness but thats ok. So as soon as the teacher says your dismissed.. I just sit there and wait for the next class to start. That is my english class and my computer science class. They are compleatly different but they are in the same room. Its kind of cool. My english teacher seems nice, except she kind of mumbles quite a bit. Its a little hard to understand her. After my first two classes we have chapel, then I have math class. Then I am done for the day. It was nice to be done at 12:00. I did have some homework today though, I got that all finished though. Tonight I went to dinner with some friends again, and we just hung around at the table until around 7:00 then we just walked around campus for a bit. Well that was pretty much my day, tomorrow I have a different schedule but it shouldn't be too hard. posted by Jeremy Dillinger @ 9:55 PM  0 comments Tuesday, August 27, 2002 Today was my last day for freshmen seminar, tomorrow I start the real classes. Today I got a care package from my mom. She sent me all kinds of cool stuff, and some thing that microsoft sent me in the mail at home. Most of the day was pretty normal in comparison to all the other days. Tonight there was a block party though so there was a concert and a cookout and stuff like that. I went on my own, but I met up with some people later that were there. I hung out with them for awhile then I hung out with a bunch of girls after that. I got to know them pretty good today. They are a nice group of girls to hang out with. I learned a lot about the way they think. Well my classes start tomorrow and I'll need to wake up at 7:00 so I better turn in a little early today and get off on a good start. My teacher was teaching a workshop during our regular class time. So our class got moved untill after she was done with that. Then we had class at 11:00 today. Then later I had the computer assessment test to take. In my opinion it was a big joke. But some people didn't pass so I guess they needed it. Then after that I went to dinner with a couple people and we hung out there for about 2 hours. I think later tonight I will go down to where they are doing karaoke. I'm not much of a karaoke fan but I'm a fan of making fun of the people that are. If you know what I mean. I should bring some tomatoes with me =) j/k. Oh I forgot to write one of the blogs last night. Don't worry though I didn't do anything all that fun yesterday. I went to the campus church though which was pretty cool, but that was about all I did yesterday. So yeah. Good times. But the bowling was full so we went and did mini golf instead. After that we all did a pit stop at Wal-mart. We got back to Liberty at around 10:30 and then we all hung out in the lobby to watch some TV and just hang out. Now we just left there because curfew was coming up fast. So now I'm back here again. One of my roomates today bought a weight lifting set.. so I might try that sometime tonight. Well I think thats good for now, I guess everybody likes my van too. I had to take if 4x4ing tonight also.. I had to jump up on a side walk and hop a couple hills with it. The little guy held up well. Today started out boring becasue there was nothing to do, but by tonght it got a little more exciting. posted by Jeremy Dillinger @ 12:17 AM  0 comments Friday, August 23, 2002 Today we had our first chapel type thing today it was ok, but I don't know if I'll be able to take 3 of those a week. =) I was able to make a workshop today too. I'll need to go to three more. I think they are pretty much useless I haven't learned a thing yet. After I got all my class work done today I was able to go out to the place I'll be working in town. It's at Computer Exchange It is a really cool environment. I was over there visiting with them and learning the system from about 4:00 to 6:00 then they took me out to dinner. Now I've just been organizing our dorm room some more and trying to get our printer to work.. I think we will need a new cable or something. Well I'm going to go hang out for awhile. I finally finished reading all of my e-mail that I got during my trip accross country. I also registered for my classes today so I'm glad that is taken care of. I was supposed to go to a workshop today as well, but I couldn't because I was registering at the time. So I'll probalby have to do something to make that up sometime.. but I don't know. I was able to get my classes so I would be done by noon or so. That way I can have a job after school. I was able to have a computer, english, health, christian service, and math class for this symester. I hope I like the teachers. I checked my mailbox today too and those things are so small its not even funny. They are about the size of a fist and about 10 inches back. its pretty small. My dorm is pretty big, everybody said I wouldn't have room for all of my stuff. Well I found room. Everything is up and we still have lots of room. I have two roomates and both of them are pretty cool so far. I was able to do most of the stuff I needed to today with checkin and everything. Tommorow I think I'll go and setup with classes and things. Well its pretty late here. its 12:30 so I better head to bed. Yesterday and today I've been hard at work Packing still. I have everything done now except my computers packed up. Also when I do that, my webcams and everything will quit working. I'll try to put a sign up saying what happend.. but if it gets stuck on one picture then that means I didn't have time to do it before I packed up my computer. My Grandma and Aunt and Uncle came over today for a bit to say goodbye to me. That was pretty fun. Well I think I'll do a bit more stuff then head to bed. I have church in the morning =).

Today I let both of my works know that Monday will be my last day. Tuesday I leave on a five day trip to Virginia. I've been buisy yesterday and today preparing everything for departure. I'll need to have my mom's computer ready for internet and all that kind of stuff as well. I got that working tonight. Yes today will be another short blog because I'm working on a bunch of stuff. Don't worry once I get settled down again at my new "home" I'll fill you all in better. I've been working on my freinds computer too, he needed a webcam setup. I finally got everything taken care of for the most part over at Acorn today. The mail server is running, the Domain server is running. Just about everything is running. My next mission there now is to figure out who will take my place if I go to college in Virgina. Tonight I need to setup my moms computer to use a modem once we get rid of DSL. She's gonna hate that. Well today was a short blog sorry.

Sorry I've forgotten to update this blog over the weekend. I've been buisy cleaning out my closet and organizing my room. I think the next thing I need to do is get rid of the clothes I never wear. I also went to that seahawks game on saturday. It was ok but, I thought it was still kind of boring. So Danny and I went wandering around the stadium. Since we had club seats we could get in the club section and we found out that the SeaGals (cheerleaders) were giving autographs in there. We both got about half of theirs. We didn't get back from that until late saturday and my room was a mess so thats why I couldn't blog that day. On Sunday I just plain forgot =). Today at work I brought in my Lego computer it doesn't work quite right, I think its just the motherboards problem though we will get it to work though. The rest of tonight I'll just probably sit here. I may go get a webcam for danny though.. it depends. Well I guess thats all for now. Tomorrow I go to Acorn all day and work there. Hopefully I can get everything finished by then.

I finally have everyone transfered to the new server over at Acorn. I still need to get the Exchange server running though. I have all the DNS entrys in but the e-mail points to nothing right now. Right now 6 people are over they are all hanging out in my room. They will all stay the night tonight. I finally aquired a power supply for my lego case computer. I will probably try to boot it up sometime tomorrow. Tomorrow I'll be one of the first people to go into the new seahawks stadium. It is the first game of the season but its just a practice kind of. There won't be very many other people there, but I have 4 tickets so I'll be among them. Well I'm tired I'm going to go now.

Today I just had a regular old day at my school district job. The school we went to today was really nice though. It had like elevator music in the hallways and almost all the computers had a flat screen monitor. It was pretty cool. At my other Job at Acorn I got quite a bit accomplished today. All the computers that can handle it, now have Windows XP on them. I did have an issue with one computer but I think its a hardware issue, I'll probably work on that tomorrow or next tuesday. I have the Server running now with Active Directory and I tested it on a couple machines but I didn't actually make the transfer from NT 4 to it yet. I wanted to make sure they had enough time to use it while I was still there so if there are problems I can work those out. I think I'll take that on tomorrow. If everything works well, I'll setup the Exchange server tuesday and then I think I'll have them all ready to go again. Lets hope things go that easy. Tonight I went over to Katies house for dinner we had lasagna it was pretty good stuff. After that the girls went to Game works and Danny and I just came back here. He is gone now and I'm just relaxing till bed time. So I guess thats a good enough update for today. Bye for now.

Hey Today was a pretty buisy day for me. I worked all day again, and then I had to help katie move to her new place afterwards. So I haven't had a chance to sit down at home and check e-mail and stuff until just about an hour ago. I've been pretty buisy the last couple days. I don't know why it all just comes at me all at once. With me its like a month on/month off type thing. My parents are thinking about having me go to Liberty College in Georgia for next year. I don't mind Liberty but I think just throwing that on me last minute won't work out too well. I would personally like to wait a year then go next year because then I would actually have time to plan it. But If things fit together well, I might go for it. Tomorow I'll have to go to Acorn again this week because I didn't finish what I did yesterday there. I would like to get it done tomorrow so I don't have to go back again friday, But It is a pretty big project. I'm migrating them all to Windows XP workstations and the The servers to Active Directory with Windows 2000 from NT 4.0. After that gets running then I need to set them up with an Exchange server for they're e-mail. I don't know if I'll get it all done. Next Tuesday I'll be going there all day though so the Exchange server I might just do then. Well I guess I'll write more tomorrow, (If I don't forget). =)
