I wake up this morning and there were 2 inches of snow on the ground. Gotta love the Lynchburg weather. Anyway, I still ended up driving to church this morning. After church I just came back and went to lunch then came back to my room and worked on making the webpage for selling my laptop on Ebay. Then after that I had GNED, but I was able to stay awake in that class without any problems. I did go to chapel today though and I kinda fell asleep in that though. Then since I don't have my math class I decided to sit in the courtyard and read my book for english class until lunch. Also today was pretty slow at work so they just gave me the day off. If I would have gone in I probalby just would have sat there and looked at the wall so its good I didn't go in. I was able to get lot of homework done though which was great. I really was hoping for a nap but I never did get one. After dinner I went to see "Catch me if you can" with a couple friends. Then I came back here after that and I was going to go to sleep then, but I remembered I had to help my parents with their computer tonight so I stayed up to get that all worked out. It wasn't too hard though so I was able to fix it pretty quick. I had to fix another guys computer tonight too though so instead of going to be at 10:00 like I was hoping to, I will have to settle for 12:00 I guess. Oh well its no big deal (don't feel bad mom and dad). Well thats all for today. At least a C is what I"m thinking... not the greatest, but it could have been worse. I may get lucky and have gotten better then I thought. I guess we'll find out. The rest of the day was pretty standard, can't think of anything unusual happening today. I just had classes, then work, then church. After church I had my bible study at late night for awhile then I just came here and did my homework. I have to write a paper for english. I think I'm done for the night though.. I kind of hit a mind block. I'll try again tomorrow night. As for now I think I"m just going to go to bed. Night posted by Jeremy Dillinger @ 1:11 AM  0 comments Wednesday, March 26, 2003 Sorry about forgetting to do a blog yesterday, I got in so late and was too tired and I didn't even think about it. I was out helping Katie in the computer lab do a powerpoint presention. But classes resumed as normal once again, I also got a good meal again from just eating candy and chips all last week. I think my stomach shrunk some. But soon I'll be back to normal. I tried to get my calculs class withdrawn yesterday but my teacher was sick. So I just had to wait for today. But Then he was sick again today and the deadline for them was at 4:00 so I had to go and find his house number and give him a call at his house too see what I could do. He told me I could talk to the head of the math department and he could do a proxy signing for him, then I also had to get a signature from my advisor. The problem was they weren't in thier offices so I had to run around campus and find them and call around to get ahold of them. I finally got both of them and was able to turn in the sheet on time. I ended up being about a 1/2 hour late to work though. But now I'm relieved because I don't have to stress over the horrible math every single night. It sure was crazy getting that all worked out though. I wasn't sure if that was God's way of telling me not to drop it. But I prayed about it again during my search that it would work out if this is what he wanted me to do, and it did all work out, so I'm pretty sure it was the right choice. I was falling asleep at work some today too. I was right in the middle of typing something and then the next thing I know I'm waking up. I think I'm narcolpic (spelling?) or something. Then after work I came back and went to dinner then did some homework for awhile. Then around 9:00 Kat and I went to latenight and we met up with the gang down there for about 30 minutes. We had to eat quick though becase we wanted to see a 9:50 movie tonight. We made it just in time. We saw "two weeks notice" that is another great movie. I would recommend that one if you haven't seen it already. But anyway after the movie we had to hurry back, we got back about 5 minutes before curfew. Well I think that pretty much sums up the day. I could have talked about some other stuff but I'm too tired and I have a test in the moring in english. So I'm going to get to bed. Night! posted by Jeremy Dillinger @ 1:06 AM  0 comments Sunday, March 23, 2003 I think I'm going to head to bed early tonight. I've been tired all day. Today I had a lot of fun at chuch. I was in charge of the nursery this morning for sunday school. Then I had to do the announcements and powerpoint and offering in the main service. I was praying this week that God would give me an opportunity to serve somewhere. He sure didn't waste anytime or bring it to me slow. He just threw it all on at once. I had a great time doing it though. I did ok on the announcements this moring too but It sure wasn't my strong point. I said "Um" three times I think. I got the hang of it after the first couple announcments and did good after that I think though. Then I also had a blast in the nursery. There was only one 2yr old but we still had fun. Then after church, Kat and Carmen and I had a picnic lunch outside my dorm. That was sure fun. Then after lunch we all decided to migrate my sticky note idea to Becky's car. So we got some more sticky notes and wrote all over them and stuck them all over her car.. There was probably only about 200 that we used on her car though. We took pictures though and I'll have to put them up when I put the ones from my hall up. Then at around 5:00 we went back to church for the movie night. They were showing "Princess Bride" I've seen that movie so many times but still it was fun. Then we wanted just blow a little more time so we headed over to Target for awhile and just looked around. Thats just about it though. I have some reading I need to take care of but I'm going to do that in bed.. So I think I'm just going to head to bed now. Today was a pretty standard day at work.. I was there right up until 3:00 then I headed over to Ron and Betty's house from Church. I Had a great time over there... and Betty makes an awsome honey mustard chicken dish. It was delicious. They also found out I was good with computers so I did computer work for them while I was there. I set them up with a network and I also fixed a problem they were having with their scanner. I was there from about 3:30 until 9:00. Then I had to rush back because Kat and I were going to go see a 9:40 movie.. but when I got here she wasn't in her room and we didn't actually meet up until around 9:50.. so we just decided to go hang out and do other things tonight. We still had a great time... I had to cut it a little short though because I had to get back and read some things and I also had to read over the announcements for church tomorrow. I got recruted to say the announcements tomorrow so I want to make sure I got all the info down. Pray I don't blow it! =) haha.. I have to be there early tomorrow because they run through the worship and they want me to know when to get up and grab a mic and all that before the real thing. So I have to wake up around 7:30 tomorrow.. yeah I know.. That stinks.. I didn't get to sleep in at all this break and now it begins again with the sleep deprevation. Oh well thats what college is all about I guess. Well I'm going to head to bed.. NIght everyone!

I think I got everything working over at the church today.. I was there until around 1:00 again and then I went strait from there to work. Work is still going kind of slow lately.. but at least we have just enough to stay somewhat busy. There isn't much to report on from the day today. But once I got back from work I finished all of the notes.. The entire hall wall is covered in sticky notes.. I took pictures and I'll put them up when I get a chance. We also decided to take a roll of toilet paper and write on it down the entire lenght of it.. "Going insane and I have nothing to wipe with" and we strung it out and taped that along the top of the wall. That added some nice character to the crazyness. Then I also talked to my mom online a little bit today in the middle of doing that. And also Kat's mom called me and I talked to her for awhile about some things. Then at about 11:30 Kat made it back and she showed up at my window. So we hung out until around 12:15. It was good to see her again. I love her new haircut.. its so great... well anyway.. look at the time.. 2:30 and I have work tomorrow.. I better head to bed.. Night!

I woke up and went down to registation and got the form to drop the calc class. All I need is my teacher to sign it and then that class is done for. No more waking up in cold sweats screaming because of my hatred for that class. =) j/k. So anyway once I got that all taken care of I headed over to Church. I have to setup the server and things over there. I wasn't able to finish it all the way though.. so I will be going there again tomorrow morning. I was at the chuch from about 9:30 till 1:00. So I just went strait from there to work. Then after work I went to the store to pickup some sticky notes. I decided I was going to decorate our hall while everyone was gone with over 1000 sticky notes. Each one will say: Spring Break... Lonelyness.. No Food.. Nobody to talk to... the hall is mocking me... IT MAKES JEREMY CRAZY!!! and it will be hand written on every one.. I have about 300 done already.. I will probbalby make a couple more once I finish writing the and then head to bed.. My hand is starting to hurt though from writing all those. But anyway.. I think everyone will think it funny when they get back. Well thats all for now.. I have to get back to writing those down.. and still get some sleep so I can wake up and get to church early tomorrow.. Night!

This morning I drove around and looked at apartments. I think I found one I really like. Its not the most beautiful or anything.. but It has exactly what I'll need for a great price. It will be $250/month normally but since I will only have a 3 month lease it will be $350/month. It has lots of room so I could store all of Chris and Zacks things there over summer as well as some of Kat and Becky's things as well. And still have lots of room left. I could even have enough room to have a roomate if I end up needing one without having trouble finding room for him. Over all the place would need a little touch up work with the walls and things but I have a vision for it and it looks great. I just have to wait and see if that is God's will. Meanwhile I'm going to continue looking just incase. After I got done looking at apartments I headed to work until 6 like normal, then went to church. I got recruted to setup a server and the internet in the offices at the church so I'll be doing that tomorrow morning around 10:00. Before that I will be going to the registration office to withdrawl from my Calc class. Yeah.. as of now I"m 90% sure I'm going to do it. So It looks like tomorrow I have an 8:00 wake up call coming at me. So I guess I better head to bed. Night!

I woke up today around 9:30 and I had a bunch of things I had to take care of before work. I had to go ask some questions about finacial aid and about classes for over the summer and for next year. I have a lot to think about. The main one is wether I want to withdrawl from my calc class. I really don't want to quit and give up. But I have a feeling I am going to be getting an F in that class and I don't want it to affect my GPA so If I withdrawl now I won't have to worry about it. I'm going to be changing majors to the MIS so I won't need that class anyway. I've talked to some people about it and I've prayed about it.. I'm starting to think I'm going to do that. I'm going to talk to the teacher tomorrow hopefuly as a last resort but I'm pretty sure I'm just going to withdrawl. I also have to look at apartments tomorrow and decide wether I want to go and get one on my own or try to get a roomate to help with the cost. I also need to find out about summer classes and things tomorrow too. I just have a lot on my mind with all this stuff going on. I was also reading this book my mom sent me on relationships and "Finding God's Best" That got me thinking about some things too while I was reading that today. Work was pretty normal today, nothing out of the ordinary there and I just worked normal hours and everything. Tonight there was three older women that cooked a soup meal for everyone that stayed on campus during spring break so I went there for dinner tonight. There were about 15 people I saw that were there. I also got there a little late so I don't know how many came all together. But the campus sure is quiet I'll estamate there are only 50 people that stayed. After that meal I came back to my room and started working on a bunch of things. I talked to my mom and dad on the phone tonight and work on some options about next year. I also told them about all the things I need to decide on this week and they tried to give me some insight. I'm still not sure about what to do though. After I got off the phone with them Kat called and I talked to her for awhile too. Other then that I just worked on my stuff I need to get done, there is a lot too. I feel like there is more to do now then during normal school hours. Its kind of weird. Well anyway I should get to sleep. Good night for now.

Today I didn't go to work until 1:00. So I used that time to talk to my advisor and run some errands and things. After talking to my advisor I decided I'm going to change my major to Management Information Systems (MIS). It is the computer major based around buisness rather then math. I liked what I saw so he convinced me. (Or I conviced myself I guess) Tomorrow I"m going to go and talk to finacial aid and see how an F in my Calc class would affect my finacial aid (Yeah I know I"m preparing for the worst) I might ask how a withdrawl would affect it as well. I'll consider my options and things and see what I come up with tomorrow. So anyway I was able to get that taken care of today before work.. Then at work my Memory card came in. The 512MB card I ordered off of e-bay. It works great. I played with that a little today, but I'll have to play with it more tomorrow once I get done with everything. After work today I had to do a bunch of other things. I want to finish a book I'm reading for GNED. I only have about 30 pages left. I read a whole lot tonight after work. Thats just about all I did once I got back. I probably read about 350 pages all together tonight combining all 4 books I'm reading simultaniously. Nobody came down to hang out in my room tonight so I was able to get a lot done. I also fixed me up some Ramen noodles for dinner tonight. I had that and some goldfish and some candy. I was considering just eating every other day. But Kat called me and made me eat something. So I guess I had to do it. Well that just about covers my day. I just have to go work out and then hit the bed. Good night!

Hey, I forgot to write an entry for last night. I got into reading a book then I kept falling asleep so I just went to bed and forgot. But I'll just write it now =). Yesterday I woke up and went to church in the morning. It turns out I wasn't the only college student. Art and Carmen were still there, so that was nice. The service was pretty good too. He talked about surrending it all to Jesus. After church I went to Joe and Deborah's for the afternoon. They are a couple from our church. They are the adopted parents of Kat and Becky. (They've actually adopted all the college students in a way). So anyway they fed me lunch and then I played football with the boys for awhile. I showed them my handheld computer too and they wanted to all play with that for awhile. Then we watched a movie (which I fell asleep during) I ended up leaving around 6:30 or so. When I got back I was the only person here for about an hour and half. Kat's mom called me during that time for awhile and she was just checking up on me. After we got off the phone, Drew was the first person to show up and then Han came in about an hour after him. Everybody decided to come hang out in my room and watch a movie. We watched "outbreak" It was a pretty decent movie. Robert, also showed up in the middle of the movie and he came over here awhile too. So I could say I had the entire dorm in my room =). But that was cool we all just hung out here for awhile. Once the movie was over we decided to run up and down the halls screaming for awhile (Literally) It was great. Haha! Then after that I did a lot of reading. I read some books my mom sent me and the book for GNED I have to read. Then in the middle of all the reading I took a break and talked to my mom and Kat online. Once they both left I just read some more. Then fell asleep. There that covers the day =) I got some things to do today so I better get started. Bye everyone.

Today I went to work from 9:30 to 3:00 as normal. It was just Scott and I there again today and he invited me over to his house after work today. I decided I could. Scott lives in Roanoke so I made the trip down there after work. I brought all my laundry with me and I was able to do laundry for free today so that was pretty cool. While I was down there he went to a fish store. He is really into aquariums and things so I went with him and he bought a couple exotic fish. I saw some seahorses in one of the tanks. That was the first time I had ever seen one in real life. They look really cool. They are stupid fish but I think it would be fun to have a seahorse someday. After we got back to his place I did another load of laundry and we made dinner. So I got a decent meal today which was nice. Then we just kinda hung out the rest of the night. We played some Nintendo and watched some TV and things. It was a pretty relaxing night. I left his house around 9:30 and got back here about 10:30. Then I unpacked all my laundry and talked to my parents online for awhile. That pretty much covers the day though. I have to get to church tomorrow still. I will probalby be the only liberty student there. But anyway I should get some sleep so I don't fall asleep in church. Good night world!

Today was really nice. In my first class we watched a movie. Then in my second class we just sat and had a discussion. Then my math class was cancelled. So today you could tell spring break was coming up. My brain didn't have to work very hard today. Then work was pretty slow today so we just chilled again. Then I was excited because Kat and Becky came and visited me at work for awhile. I introduced them to Scott, Andy wasn't there during that time though so he didn't get to meet them. But I was excited to see them just show up at work. Then after work we were all going to go out to dinner at an all you can eat Pizza place. It was good food! Then to make it even better it was only $3 for liberty students. Can't get much better then that. The marriot offically closed today at 1:30 so I am now on my own food wise for 10 days. So anyway after work while I was waiting for the the girls to get ready to go to dinner I sat in with Micah at the radio station. He is the DJ for two hours on Fridays from 5-7. It was cool to be able to sit back there with him and see how that all worked. So anyway, once his shift was done and the girls showed up we headed off to dinner. After dinner Kat and I went to the mall for awhile and the we decided to go to a 9:40 movie. We ended up watching "Antwon Fisher" it is a good movie over all.. But it is just people talking most of the time and not much action at all. Its one of those you only want to watch once. But I still had fun though. I was just happy to spend the evening with Kat because she will be leaving tomorrow morning and I won't get to see her for seven days. We both had a good time. Now I am back on my dorm and there are still about 15 people here. 12 people will be leaving tomorrow though, so it will be just three others and me here for the rest of the week. Good fun!! I'm telling ya. No doubt. Alright well I have work in the morning so I'm gonna head to bed. Good night everyone. (Pray I don't starve) lol just kidding. PS. Mom, I got the package in the mail today. Hey, my math class is cancelled today so I'll take this extra time and let you all know what I did yesterday. I ended up winning my e-bay auction it was pretty cool. I got a 512MB Memory card for $110 after shipping and everything. Normally in the stores you could get a 256MB card for $99 which would be about the same price after tax. So I doubled what I could get for the same price. I should get it by the middle of next week. The rest of the day was pretty normal. At breakfast I sat with a friend and we are going to start trying to do accountablity sessions thursday at breakfast. We have the same next class so after that we would walk to class together. It went well for the first time I think. We didn't really know how to do something like that though because niether of us had done anything like it. I had some reading material we could go through on spiritual gifts and then we read out of the bible a little bit. After that we talked about accountablity stuff. I might be able to think of something better to do for the next time we get together. But it seemed to work pretty well. After work yesterday I went to dinner and Kat and Becky and Micah and Anthony and I stayed for awhile and played cards after dinner then we headed over to davids place and played Guestures until about 9:30. After that I headed back for hall meeting. Then after hall meeting Kat and I went to the computer lab because she needed to finish her powerpoint presentation and she needed my help. So we were down there until around 1:00. Then when I got back here my RA needed help making his wedding inviations on the computer so I ended up not getting to bed until pretty late last night. Sorry I couldn't finish our conversation online last night mom =). Well that pretty much covers it for yesterday. Right now I have about an hour to relax since there is no class for me. So I'll just wait in my room until I have to go to work. I'll talk about the rest of today before I go to bed tonight hopefully. Bye for now! You all have a great day!
