Our trip to Norfolk yesterday was pretty good. We left at 4am and it ended up being my pastor and Chuck that came along as well. It was great conversation for the trip up and when we got there Steve was really excited to see us. The ceremony was cool, but miliary style for sure. They couldn't smile or anything so even though it was an exciting moment for them they had to keep a straight face. That was kind of sad. But it was still cool to see. After the ceremony Steve took us around the base and we were able to look at some fo the cool stuff. I sat in the cockpit for a warrior helicopter and that was really cool. John got a picture of me in it. We then took him out to lunch at Golden Corral and I think we all ate a little too much. It was so good though. We then went back to his base for the last time, so he could gather all his belongings, and we took him to the airport for his three week break before he heads to Germany for Assignment. After he left we then looked around Norfolk/Newport News for awhile and juse looked at the city a little bit before we headed home. The trip back home was pretty fun too. I had a great time hanging out with the guys. After getting back to Lynchburg I went to the Donnebergs for the rest of the night and just relaxed the rest of the day and didn't do any homework. It was pretty fun. Then Allie and Jo and I watched "The Village" before heading to bed. I stayed the night at thier place one more time. Then this morning I had to wake up and head to work. I was the only one running the shop today so I had to be there a little early to open it all up and stuff. While I was here today the Donnebergs stopped in and hung out with me for a little to bring me lunch and keep me some company. That was really cool and I'm glad they stopped in. Since I was here alone today I figured I would take the chance to blog too. I'm sure you all appreciate it. Ok Its time to close up shortly now though so I better get going.
