This weekend I was going to attempt another flying lesson, I studied and prepared myself all day saturday for it and was ready by Sunday afternoon, but it turns out that it was too cold outside and it was raining a little bit and we would have probably had some issues with icing so we had to cancel it. I was pretty sad. I ended up rescheduling for this coming Saturday but it wasn't the best time at all. Now I have to deal with conflicts of schedules and stuff. I really hope it works out this time though. I'm ready to get this lesson overwith. It has to be a flight of 250 miles total so it is going to be a long one. On the bright side of not flying this weekend it gave me a chance to hang out with Allie for awhile on Sunday and we watched a bunch of episoded of House. Becca joined us for some of them also.
Monday was I back at work and it was a pretty busy morning yesterday there, it kind of died down a little by the end of the day though. We were going to have a birthday party thing for Chuck yesterday but turns out that we had to reschedule it to Tuesday night instead.
So tonight was the birthday party for Chuck and after work I headed on over to their house and we all had Fondue for dinner and some really good chocolate pie for dessert. It was a really good and delicious meal. Afterwards I hooked up the new surround sound system I got him for his birthday to his new TV and we played with that a little bit before we all left for the night. It was a really fun evening. I should probalby head on to bed now though. I have to wake up at 5:30 to meet my pastor at 6:30 in the morning. So I'm going to do just that. Night!
