Well back to another post. It has been awhile since my last one. Nothing too much has happend this week. Things have been pretty normal. I have found another possible house though. This one is a lot cheaper then the other one too. I am going to be taking Allie to go see it tomorrow morning. I was able to see this one before they offically put it up for sale. One of the realtors I've been in contact with gave me the heads up on it. It goes live on monday though so I might have to decided then. There have been a few houses I've been interested in lately and by the time I call about it they have already put it under contract. I will need to act fast on this one if It is the right one. I really like it though and I'm fairly certain I'm going to try to pursue this one. I don't really have much else to talk about though. This week has been pretty uneventful besides that. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I hope my parents are having a good time in Hawaii. They have been down there since Wednesday. Not sure if they have even had a chance to read this but "HI" if you are. I was able to get my van fixed without too much of a problem. The main thing that was a cause of it in the first place was a seal that just got old and broke. That was only $90 to fix it and get the thing up and running again. But while they were in there they recommended me getting my radiator fixed. That thing has had problems ever since I bought it. They found me a fairly cheap one for only $180 so I decided it was time to go ahead and get that done. And after doing that the heat also started working in the Van. It was an added bonus. Just in time for summer =). Anyway so my trusty ol van is back in buisness again. Friday night I went over for dinner to the Donnebergs house and we had some homemade pizza. That stuff is always good. After pizza the four of us went to go see a play at Liberty. Then after the play Allie and I went to the airport for a party type thing the Aviation Team was putting on as a fund raiser. They had Top Gun playing on some screens in the Hanger at the airport. It was sort of fun.. but I was tired and couldn't really hear the movie very well and it wasn't all that comfortable. But it was nice to at least show up and see all that was going on. We ended up leaving that pretty early and headed home.
Saturday was a day I could just sit around and do absolutely nothing for most of it. I slept in until 12:00.. woke up to eat breakfast then watched a movie. Then took another nap until Allie came over and woke me up. We were going to go out and have a picnic that day. We gathered together some sandwich stuff and a few other snacks and headed to a nearby park. It was a lot of fun. I liked doing that. After our picnic we headed over to the CANVAS building for a gathering before all the College people would show up. Turns out not really any college people showed up. I didn't really expect any to though - we still haven't made any flyers or other type of advertising yet. I hope they get on that soon. I only stayed until around 11:30 or so and then headed home.
Today has been an interesting day. Went to church this morning as usual and Allie sat with me up in the crowsnest area to help me with the Powerpoint stuff. She did good for the few things she did. It was fun to have her up there also. After chruch I came over to the Donnebergs for Lunch and I had some left over pizza from Friday night. It was still good stuff. Then a little later we drove around for awhile to look at a few houses that we found in the paper that were in my price range. They also had a few they wanted to look at while we were out. After returning back to the house though turns out Allie was just going to sit and do homework all afternoon so I decided to call my instructor to setup an appointment to go flying. He ended up being able to do that so I headed over to the airport around 5:30. The flight lesson ended up being really good too and my instructor said he really like my landing today. You could barely feel the wheels touch. Thats always a good feeling. Anyway I'm back at the Donnebergs now with nothing much to do besides write this blog. Allie has been doing homework for like 6 hours straight and she doesn't want to watch a movie or anything. So it has been an unusual sunday. Anyway, thats it for now.

Hey all, its been awhile since my last post so I better make a quick update. Today I made an offer on that house. It looks like the Owner isn't too willing to budge on his listed price though. Currently it is just a little out of my price range. I have to decide if I'm willing to keep pursuing it though or keep looking elsewhere. The price is a good price, but there are a few things I would like to have done to the place after purchase that would make it cost too much. For now I'm going to wait it out and see what happens. Also today my Van broke a seal in the engine somewhere and leaked out all the water. It got really hot but I got to work just in time to turn it off before it overheated on me. It is actually in the shop right now getting looked at. The main problem they fixed already, but I'm debating just getting a new radiator put in it because Its had problems ever since I bought it with that. It has probalby gotten worse over time and While its in and opened up I might get that done. They were going to get me a price quote but it was after hours by the time they got to that point and couldn't call thier supplier. They should be able to let me know tomorrow morning some time. I'll have to decide then. All happend at a weird time though. Buying a house and fixing my car at the same time might not be such a great idea. I was sure glad for Chuck today though. He was able to stop by and help me out at work today with the Van. We looked at it and added some water to it. He then followed me to the Shop with it to make sure it would make it. Then he let me borrow his truck for the evening and tomorrow morning while the vans in the shop. That was so great of him. Couldn't be more thankful! I still had to make it to class tonight though - all that and it worked out just perfect so I go there two minutes early. After class I went to see a show at LU with Allie. The drama team did thier own Who's Line Is It Anyway. They did a great job and it was a lot of fun. Now its late though and I really should get to bed. Night!

Most of this week has been straight forward. I've been seriously considering that house I found a few weeks ago. Just to be certain... I've been going around looking at some others to make sure. And it seems like the more I look at, the more satisfied I am with the first one. I think I will be making a decision by the end of next week. We'll see what happens. On Wednesday I ended up leaving work at around 11:00 because they wanted all of the IT people working with the computers at people's desk to have a certification called Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician. (MCDST) I already have the MCSE+I certification but they wanted me to get this other one anyway. Didn't matter to me though. They were going to pay for it all. So I had to go to Roanoke to take the exam for it. I passed both of those, so now I just have one more certification to put on a resume or something if I ever need to do that. It wasn't really that hard of a test anyway. While I was there though the people were having a lot of problems with their computer systems. I probably could have gotten done on time to get back in town and go back to work, but I ended up being stuck there until about 5:30 because of that. The computers were going really slow and at one point it completely locked up during my test. Then their printers broke too so I couldn't get my score report printed. I ended up helping out a little bit so I could get to my class on time that evening. Tonight I am going to be doing my clinical in the ER at Lynchburg General. The times for that will be from 7pm-12am. I hope something more exciting happens this time then during my ambulance ride along. So anyway, I actually should probably finish getting ready for that. I wanted to write a quick update post though since it has been awhile.

This weekend was a lot of fun! Friday Allie and I went out to a really nice restaruant called Crown Sterling. It is a steak place. We ended up being there for almost two hours. It was a lot of fun! After dinner we ended up watching a few episodes of American Idol because we have gotten pretty far behind on it. We didn't stay out too late though because we both had to wake up early the next morning for our trip to DC.
So, Saturday morning we met up with the rest of the crew at Liberty that were coming up to DC with us. They ended up getting three charter busses and we drove up that way. On the way up we passed through a few towns that had snow still on the ground. It is pretty strange to have snow in April. In DC it might as well snowed though. It was bitter cold. It made the trip not as enjoyable. We met up with Allie's cousin Erich that goes to school near D.C. while we were there and spent the day with him. One of the first things we did was go see the Library of Congress because we never had a chance to see that last time we were in DC. It was huge disappointment though. I was hoping to see walls of books. Guess what, there wasn't a single book insight. The only place I even saw a book there was in the gift shop. It was sad. Remind me next time not to waste my time going there. On the way out from there we stopped in at the big green house. They had a jungle section with jungly plants and a dessert section with cactus and such. They even had one part that was an Orchid garden and they had a room full of them. That was Allie's favorite part I think. They had a bunch of other little rooms too with differnt types of plants. It was kind of cool. After that We ended up taking the subway to Alexandria and having lunch down there. It was a nice little part of town that we were in too. We ended up staying down there until it was almost time to meet at the bus. So by the time we got back to DC we only had about 15 minutes to get back to the meeting point. We did make it on time though and both of us slept most of the way back. We got back to town around 12:00.
Sunday was a really nice easter. The service at church went really well we had a good sized crowd show up as well. It was really nice. That afternoon I spend the time with the Donneberg family and we had easter dinner and there were even a few gift exchanges with candy and things that aren't good for us (like nerf guns). I spend some time with Chuck and we talked about buying a house some. Once it turned evening we went downstairs and watch some Episodes of House MD that I had on my computer. They all seem to like that show. We ended up watching those until it was time for Allie and I to leave. Upon returning home I pretty much went right to bed so I could get on to work this morning and not be tired. It kind of worked =).
Anyway today I helped out some of the other guys that were getting behind on some stuff. This month is going to be one hectic month for them so I will probably chip in and help get things moving through the pipe some. I was able to get a good start on it today I think though. Anyway, I'll be back at it tomorrow so I better get on to bed. Good night!

I think I found a really nice house. It might do the trick. I'm going to think and pray about it. In the mean time I should get to bed. Next few days are going to be busy. Friday is Allie and My two year anniversary since we started dating.. and then Saturday we are going to Washington D.C. Not sure if I'll be blogging in between. You probably won't hear from me until sunday or something. So anyway, thats my quick update. Night!
