Read my archived posts! Click Here Saturday, May 31, 2003 Today I had to go do a service call again to the animal hospital. There was one more thing they needed to have setup today. It was a quick service call though I was only there about 40 minutes or so this time. The rest of work today was pretty regular, off and on business today. I stayed after and close the shop today too. After I closed I just came back home and Scott's Wife had a load of things brought over so I helped them unload that stuff then I cooked myself some dinner. Then after that I helped Scott finish up with his fish tank. I had to leave early though because Will and I and a couple other people from church were going to see "Saving Nemo" the new pixar movie. So I went over to Will's house for awhile and then we all met at the theater shortly after. I think Pixar just keeps getting better. This movie was very good. Its right up there with Monsters Inc. Once the movie was over John was goign to go hang out at Will's for a bit afterwards and they invited me to come along too. I have work tomrrow morning though so I had to turn them down on that. Speaking of that I should head to bed now.. its rather late. Night everyone! posted by Jeremy Dillinger @ 12:35 AM  0 comments Friday, May 30, 2003 Hey everyone sorry I forgot to write an entry for yesterday the day was pretty boring anyways though, you didn't miss much. There wasn't even church last night so I just stayed home and worked on the computer. Then I chatted online until around 1:30 in the morning and then I didn't feel like writing a blog after I finished the conversation Kat and I were having. So I just went strait to bed. But anyways, thing were a little more eventful today. Scott ended up coming over early this morning before work because he had a car load of things to move into the apartment next to me. So I helped him with that and then we went strait to work after that. We stayed busy today though but the weird thing is we only made one sale all day. We were so busy though because a new shippment of things came in. So we had to unpack about 35 boxes full of things and then price them and set them out on stock. So my hands are a little cardboard burned today, but thats ok. It was good for a change of pace. After work was over I came home and checked e-mail and read my snail mail (I'm getting some here now finally) Then I talked on the phone to Will for awhile. After that I decided to make dinner. I made bacon and scrambled eggs for dinner tonight. I made the perfect bacon too.. it was great. It had that golden brown color and it had the slight crunch to it. Ah perfection.. but anyway after that I decided I would make cookies too so I did that for about an hour or so. Then at around 10:30 Scott showed up here again and He brought his 70 gallon fishtank to bring into his apartment tonight. He was working since after work unhooking it at his place so he finally go that done and over here by 11. Its one of those things you have to do all in one night or everything would die. So I had to help him get it setup tonight once he had it over here. We didn't setup everything though.. just enough to get all the fish in and the pump going for now. Since it was so late. He'll be back tomorow after work to finish up. I have to go over and turn the lights on before I go to work though. Anyway we finally got done around 12:20. He lives all the way in Roanoke too so he just stayed over at Andy's place for the night. Well that was my day. I think I will wake up early tomorrow and call the cable company and check to see about that cable internet and if it is available at this location... I doubt it. Not too much exciting to talk about there. After work I came back home and ate a quick dinner then Will and I went to go see some movies at the theater. They have 50 cent movies on tuesday. So we saw "Bringing Down the House" at 7:30 then "How to lose a guy in 10 days" at 9:40. We didn't end up leaving the theater until around 11:50. I though both movies were pretty good and I might have to get them on DVD or something. Anyway after the movies I just dropped will back off at his place then headed home. Laurie had called me during the movie though, so once I dropped Will off I called her back and we talked for awhile. Its pretty late now though and I think I'm going to head to bed. They told me they would just call me this morning if they needed me. I woke up around 9:00 today to my alarm clock going off but then I just turned it off and went back to sleep and decided I would let the phone wake me up if they needed me. Well it turns out they didn't need me so I didn't get a call and I ended up sleeping in until around 1:30. They closed the shop at 12:00 and then Scott came over to my apartment and rang my doorbell waking me up. He wanted me to help him move again today. So I got up and took a quick shower and then we headed to Roanoke to pick up a load with my Van. Once we got loaded up we headed back and dropped it all off at the storage unit. Once we finished with that we went and played a couple computer games for awhile. I ended up coming back home around 7:00 or so. I just worked on my computer most of the night after that. Then I made a quick dinner (Lipton Noodles) and then worked on my computer some more. That pretty much covers my day today. I think I'm going to turn in early since I cleaned out my e-mails and now don't have anything left to do. Yesterday was relaxing, but today was sure hectic. It was a lot of fun though. I started out by having to be at church at 8:00 this morning for practice with the worship team, but I also had to pick up Will and bring him to church so I had to leave around 7:30 so I could get him before church. Also most of the core people from church were up camping at Smith Mountain lake for the weekend so that left very little people left for the service back at the church this morning. So we had to throw a bunch of things together to make everything work. We were working on that right up until the service started but we got it together and everything went really smooth. After the service another group from church was going to go and meet everybody else at the lake for a picnic lunch. So I went along with them. There wasn't quite enough room in the church van for everyone to fit though. So I offered to take all the youth in my van. So I ended up driving all of them. I got to know 3 of the kids from the high school group pretty well during the trip. Once we got to the lake we all had a barbque lunch and hung out and talked while some people went canoeing in the lake. We ended up staying from around 1:00 to about 6:00. After that I rounded up the high school gang and brought them back to Lynchburg. Once I was done doing drop offs I then had to drive to roanoke to help Scott move some things with my Van. So I ended up getting there around 8:00. They fed me dinner and then we took out my seats and loaded up my car. Once we got everything in, the back hatch wouldn't shut, so I had to tie it closed. Then the interior light would stay on since the door was still open. So we had to take the bulb out so I could drive better in the dark. After we got loaded up we drove back and dropped everything off in a storage unit. We also built a couple shelves for things to be set on in the storage unit. We finally got done around 11:20 or so. After I got back home I talked to my mom online for awhile and the I talked to Laurie on the phone for a bit. Now I am sitting here typing this little blog note for you all. I'm about to fall over though because I"m so tired from such a hectic day, and it is past 1:00 in the morning. I also might have to work tomorrow morning, so I really should get some sleep. So I'm going to do some dishes then head to bed. Good night everyone!

Today was a pretty relaxing day. I went to work as usual today at around 9:50. Andy didn't come in today though so it was just Scott and I. So we just got work done and then even had a chance to play a couple games in the middle. The people in the building next door were having a big advertising campain today. So they had a radio station van out front and they were handing out free hotdogs, apple pie, and soda. It went well it seemed like. A lot of people were coming in and out. I missed most of it though because I had to go on a service call today. I was out at an animal hospital setting up new machines for them. I was there from about 12:30 to 2:30. It went pretty smoothy though and I didn't have many problems. I got my first call on my cell phone while I was there too. It was Scott checking up on me and just seeing how things were going. Well anyway once I got back to the shop we just got ready to close since it was so close to closing. After work I brought Scott up to my apartment and showed him around. He is thinking about moving back to Lynchburg for awile and he wanted a cheap place. So he is thinking about maybe moving in next door or something. That would be good since I'll have a neighbor I'll know. Then once they left I ended up going to get Will and I brought him over to my place and we hung out and watched a movie. We also stopped at the store and I got a case for my phone and it has a belt clip and things on it too. So we just hung out and watched movies and talked about some things. I ended up taking him home around 11:20 or so. Well that just about covers it for my day today. I'm tired and I need to wake up early because I have to be at church by 8:00 for the run through of the service. I'll be doing power point again tomorrow. So anyway.. I'm off to bed. Night!

I ended up getting a cell phone today. That will most likely be my primary phone. I'll be on the internet most of the time with the house phone so that would always be busy. So if you need to get ahold of me you shouldn't have a problem catching me if you call my cell 434-665-6160. I've been playing with it ever since I got back from work tonight. Its great. I have it all programed just how I like it now. I ended up staying after work today until around 10:30 tonight though. We went out to dinner at a pizza place and then went back and played games on the computer all night. I'm pretty tired and I still need to get to work tomorrow morning so I should head to bed. I'm excited about my new phone though. Well anyway I gotta get going. Call me on my cell sometime =).

Today before I went to work the maitence guy came back again to fix a couple other problems here at the house. There was a light that didn't work, and an outlet that was broken. So he was working on those. I had to go to work before he was finished though so he stayed and finished up while I was gone. When I got back from work everything was working fine. So it looks like he did a good job. Today at work things were pretty normal. Not too slow but not crazily busy either so it was pretty good. After work I came back and worked on my handheld computer some. It ran out of battery awhile back so I had to set it back up again. Then I made some Lipton Noodles and toast and ate while I read some e-mail. Then I just chatted online after that. So that is going to be the normal day for Jeremy for the next 3 months most likely. Oh well I guess its not to bad. Maybe I'll get cable or something if my pocketbook can handle it. I'll find out after this coming month. I'm also planning on getting a cell phone if I can't get cable internet, because my house line would always be busy if you had to call that. I would be able to get one on my works corporate plan for $40/month which wouldn't be too bad at all. It would just be the cost of cable internet. But anyway, thats about it for today. I'm going to head to bed I think. Bye for now.

It's now the 21st and my phone finally works. It was supposed to be up on the 12th though. I was able to get the instalation fee taken off though since they took so long. That would have costed around $39 so I'm happy about not having to pay that. Well I wish I could tell you all about what I did over the past week since I haven't been able to blog on those days. But to tell you the truth I can't really remember all that much. I have been working full time though so thats pretty much all I've been doing. That and setting up my apartment with things. I have pictures of my apartment up online now at www.jerdill.com/photos/liberty Once you go there click on "My apartment in Lynchburg". There are quite a few pictures there. I stood in the middle of each room and took pictures while spinning around to get the whole room. Another thing I did was go and See the Matrix 2 at the theater on Sunday. I went with Will and Kat and Becky. We went to a matinee so it was cheaper. It was pretty fun. I hated the ending to the movie though, but the rest of it was very good. They just leave you hanging and you have to wait until the 3rd one comes out in November. Its very annoying. Today I just went to work and then to church. And Now I can finally surf the net for a bit tonight so thats what I'm up to now. I had 153 e-mails to check since I haven't read them in so long. I'm down to 23 now. I should get going and finish reading some of those. Sorry about the big gap in blog though, but just think nothing important happend because thats pretty much what happend anyway. I'll get back into my blogging grove starting tomorrow night and you can hear all the juicy boring details about my days as they happend. Well Thats it for tonight. This is going to be my last blog for a couple days. Tomorrow I'll be moving this computer and I won't have an internet connection until sometime around the 12th. Right now I have everything out except for this comptuer, a phone, an alarm clock and a sleeping bag. Tomorrow I'll have to start making all my own food too. It was another long day today of moving and organizing so I'm pretty tired. A friend of mine also is looking for a ride to North Carolina sometime on saturday so she can catch a flight sunday. I really didn't want to have to do it, but I told her I would be a last resort if she can't find anybody else at all. So I might end up driving to NC on saturday after work. Well I should get headed to bed I'm really tired again. So I'll sign off until sometime on the 12th. Until then I hope I don't go crazy without internet access or telephone. Bye for now!

I'm tired again tonight. I had an exam this morning at 8:00 and then I had to go sell my books back so I had to wait in line for that. After that I had to make a couple more trips to my apartment taking some things over. Then I ate a quick lunch and headed over to work. I then went to church after work and I had to work on the computers there for awhile before and after the service. Then once I was finished there I did some more setting up at my apartment and brought a couple more things over. I'm down to one webcam now if you have noticed. OK well I've dozed off twice so far just writing this entry so I think I should get to bed. Good night!

I'm too tired to write anything significant tonight. Yesterday directly after work I drove to Richmond to get stuff for my apartment, then stayed the night there, then woke up at 7:00 and drove back and setup my apartment with it all. Then I had to go to lunch then strait to work. So I've had a really long past couple days.. I've been wearing the same clothes for almost 48 hours now and I haven't brushed my teeth either. I think I'm going to go do that now and then head to bed. I'll let you know more tomorrow if I feel up to it or even have time. I might decided to move my computers out tomorrow. I'll wait and see. Oh, and mom I haven't talked to you in awhile now, so if you get online tonight and read this you can just call me or something because I might be sleeping.

Hey! Sorry I didn't get a chance to write an entry for saturday. After work I headed strait to Richmond and didn't get back until today. So I'll just start from the begining of Saturday until now. I woke up at 8:30 Saturday and went to breakfast before work. Its a good thing I did because I never even had a chance to sit down all day at work let alone eat lunch. Anyway I ended up getting to the shop around 9:30 and I opened up a little early because there was a guy just waiting outside. It seemed like there was never longer then 20 minutes before I would get a phone call or have a customer come in. At one point there were two people on the phone on hold and two customers. But that was the worst of it. I think I did pretty well over all. Besides the fact I never got a break, nothing blew up and the store was almost exactly how they left it once the day was over... (minus the laptop I sold and multiple machines I fixed). After I got done there I came back to campus and Kat and her Dad were waiting for me. We all moved a bunch of stuff from her dorm over to my apartment and then headed strait over to Richmond. We went there to pick up Kats new car. She was so excited when we got there she just had to drive around town for a bit. Then after our little joy ride around town we went back to her dad's and watched a movie. We stayed the night there and woke up at 7:00 then left her house around 7:50. We needed to get back in town for church this morning. Kat and I were in charge of childrens church this morning. We made it back with time to spare and we even had a chance to stop back at the dorms for a minute or two. That was my first time doing childrens church at the church here. But We did good and the kids had a lot of fun. We taught them about gentleness for the lesson. Then we played that game where we have to get in a big circle and get in a big knot then untie ourselfs without letting go of hands. It was a contest between the boys and the girls on who could get untangled first. We played twice and the girls won one and the guys won the second one. Then we also sat in a circle and each person had to say one thing nice about one of the other people. Then we went around the circle 3 times.. One of them said I was an awsome teacher. (good to know). After church today one of the youth from church (Will) came over for awhile to my dorm and hung out. We played some computer games and then some nintendo for awhile. Then around 3:00 Becky Kat Micah Will and I all went and rented a movie then bought some icecream and popcorn and went over to my apartment and watched it. Will wanted to see Harry Potter, so That is what we ended up watching. I kind of fell asleep through it though. I think it was just because I was so tired though not because it was a boring movie. Then after they all left I stayed for awhile and did some organzing and cleaning up some more. Its starting to look more and more like a place to stay now. Anyway after I finished up will all I could do there for the night I just came back the dorm and took care of quite a few e-mails and things. I hadn't been here since Saturday morning. I also did some last minute study for my final exam in New Testament tomorrow. I have that at 9:00. Then after that I'll take care of a couple things here then go to work, and then head back to Richmond again. I will be picking up a bed and a table and chairs hopefully from Kats mom. I might stay the night and come back tomorrow morning. I'll decide that though when I get there depending on how I feel. Well I should get to bed now though, I'm tired and I've had a long weekend. It was fun, just tiring. Pray I do well on my final tomorrow. Good night everyone!

Today I had my first offical Prayer Leader meeting. We didn't have chapel today since Wednesday was the last one for the year. So instead, all the prayer leaders had a meeting during that time. They were just giving us some general information about how it works and also a time we need to be back at the begining of next year. Then they also gave us a little book we need to read over the summer. After that meeting was over I met up with Kat and I picked up some of her things that she needed to take to my apartment. So I loaded up my van and with that and dropped it off at my place. Then we came back for lunch. I ate a quick lunch though because I had to make a stop at my leasing agents office to give them a report on damages that were in the apartment when I moved in. That didn't take too long though and I was still able to get to work a little early. Then after work I made another trip to my apartment to drop off some quick things, and then Andy showed up and met me there. It turns out that he will be busy tomorrow and can't show up to work, and he had already given Scott the day off. So I got stuck with running the shop all by myself tomorrow. I've ran it for about an hour or two before but this time I have to open and stay the whole day and then close all on my own. I believe I can do it.. I just hope I can wake up on time in the morning. =) After Kat and I finished our quick stop at the apartment then we headed back to campus and went to the computer lab for awhile until 8:00. At 8:00 we had to meet up with a bunch of other people and I carpooled them all down to the mall. There ended being about 13 people all together that came there. We went to see X-Men 2 at the big theater. Thats the first time I spent five bucks to see a movie in awhile. Usually its only a dollar at the dollar theater. It was a lot of fun though and it was a great movie. Well thats pretty much my day, I need to get to bed now so I wake up on time to open up work tomorrow. Good night!

Lets see.... Today I had two tests. One in New Testament and one in Humanities. I would say there were pretty normal tests though. After that I got a couple things to take over to my apartment and then I grabbed take out lunch. Then I ate lunch there and just did some cleaning and setup. Then after work I went to dinner really quick for about 20 minutes or so because I had to meet someone that was going to keep stuff there for the summer. So I met up with her and grabbed all the stuff she wanted me to keep. Then I made another trip over there. I had a shelf to setup this time so I got that all built and then did some re-organizing. After I was done there I just came back. I went to the Prayer service they had in the Vines Center for awhile once I got back. But I only stayed for about an hour. I am pretty tired though so I think I will just go to bed now. Before midnight... haha. Alright Talk to you later.
