I ended up laying in bed last night around 9:30 to read a book... well I ended up falling asleep there (I think around 10:30ish) and never woke up until morning.. So I never blogged... I woke up and found out that My mom had tried to write me on Instant Messenger.. I was out cold by that time I guess since I never answered her. Sorry mom (Katie too).. But it's no big deal nothing exciting happend saturday anyway. Now Today was a good day though. I got to go and pick up Allie and finally give her a hug I've been wanting since her wreck. I am glad she is back now. I had church as usuall this morning though and the service over all went pretty well. After church I ended up hanging out there a little while and I got our church website setup so now you can download the sermons off the internet. Give it a try... go to: www.tlcinfo.com then click on "Archived Messages" under the last menu item on the left. Anyway after that I made the trip down to Pickup Allie. After getting back we ended up going to see a movie called "Passifire" with Jonathan. It was a really good movie I thought. I would recommend watching it. Shortly after the movie, Allie's Parents came back into town so I dropped her off back at her place and then I ended up going to Jonathans house for the rest of the evening. Over all I would say it was a good day. (expecially the seeing Allie part). Even with her scrapes and bruises she still looks as beautiful as ever. Anyway.. I"m going to head to bed now. I have the day off work tomorrow, so I am planning on going up to a campsite with a few people from church to hang out for the day. I will have to head out fairly early to make sure I'm there in time to find them. So with that.. I bid thee goodnight!

Ok.. let me tell you all what happend yesterday. Allie got in a car accident on her way down to north carolina to see her dad. I haven't even been able to see her yet since it happend because I am all the way up here. I feel helpless not being able to do anything.. I'm sure her mom feels the same way since she is in Oklahoma with Brittany at the moment. But her Dad is taking good care of his "baby girl" and she is doing very well considering the circumstances. I'm proud of the "togetherness" she has shown through everything. Keep trusting in the Lord Allie it will all be ok. It looks like her car is not driveable anymore as the frame is warped plus other cumulative damage that makes it not worth fixing. So she is pretty sad about the fact that she now has no car. But considering all this... God's hand on the whole situation was very very evident. Before Allie left to go to NC she went to the shop and had her airbags fixed because of a recall the car company had sent out concerning problems with them. Well she ended up leaving the shop and right away starting her trip to North Carolina. Well it was only two and half hours later she got in her accident. If she wouldn't have had those fixed before she left, things could possibly be a lot worse. So God clearly had his protecting hand in that area. God thing number two. Allie just had AAA service instated for her last week and it was just in time so she could have all the towing taken care of through them after this accident. Then God thing number three. Weird background situtation with her medical insurance caused some issues in the past.. but because of how the situation was it turned out that her medical insurance took care of her entire bill for the examinations after the wreck (Difficult to explain fully but I hope that covers the jist of it). So anyway thats just a few of the things that happend that God clearly had in place before the accident that show how he watches over us. It was truly amazing. Anyway.. right now there is just cuts and bruises to deal with for the most part... and the idea of no car. So keep all that in prayer. Tomorrow morning I have a check flight at the airport at 8am I need to be at so thats all I really have time to say tonight. I really need to get some sleep to be ready for that. Pray that goes well also (Airplanes don't have airbags).. sorry.. bad joke. Anyway.. good night!

Today was a fairly normal day. I did have to go on a service call today though where the guy smoked like crazy.. it was pretty bad. I was glad to be out of there. Other then that work was a little slow. After work I headed to church and we learned more about effective ways to study the bible. Once it was over Pete and Julie ended up going over to Allie's place to watch the season finale of American Idol I went along too and I ordered all of us pizza. It sure didn't compare to Julies "Chicken Log" but at least it got our stomachs full. The show seemed to just drag on and on before they finally told us who the winner was. But over all it was still a good evening. On the way back home I talked to my sister on the phone for a good while and that was a lot of fun. She has the unique advantage of asking me to find out who the winner was before they even aired the Idol show on the West coast (What a cheater) LOL. Anyway it was good to talk to her for awhile. So anyway.. I've been sort of tired lately for some reason. I know I've slept more by far then I have during the school year but I'm more tired. I'm starting to wonder if I should just stay up just because so I can be more awake off of 4 hours of sleep each night. (I probably won't but its tempting) So yeah.. before I head to bed tonight I just thought I would let you know that yes I do know my comments aren't working.. I am not quite sure why yet.. but I will try and get it all figured out this weekend. Wish me luck on that. OK good night!

The work day was pretty normal today. After work though Pete and Julie invited Allie and I over for dinner and that was really great. The "chicken log" was really excellent. Julie did a great job on it. We then lounged around and watched the second to last episode of American Idol which was pretty good. Allie and I didn't end up staying there too late though because we had to run by the church and do a quick cleaning of it before I dropped her off at her house and went home for the night. It was actually not too bad though and most of it didn't need to be done. She will go early before church tomorrow to tidy up that last of it though. Anyway for now I'm going to head to bed.

Today was just a normal work day... kinda sad too.. I didn't get to see Allie today at all. =( =( =( I just don't know what to do with myself. I did however end up reading about 100pages from a book I've been trying to finish for like 4 months. I got done finally. Its nice not having homework that takes up your time so I can do that now. I did hear from britt today over the instant messager. They are another day further down the road. Seems like all is well. If your guys are reading this.. I'm prayin for ya! Ok its actually fairly early.. but I'm going to get to bed. Night.

A really exciting thing happend today! It was great! After work I went to fly and I ended up doing a solo flight! Thats a big step in the student pilot world and I finally made it!!! Yay! At first my instructor was in the plane and we did some flight and landings so he could feel comfortable.. then after landing at one point he just hopped out of the plane and he was like... go ahead and make a few take offs and landing on your own. That is really scary at first. Its not like going out and driving a car for the first time by yourself.. with this if you screw it up.. you screw up big time. You can't just stop and pull over. After my first landing though I actually started to ease up a little bit and calm down. It was actually pretty exciting after I made my third landing BY MYSELF!! =o). One thing that was different is having the plane a whole lot lighter because my flight instructor wasn't in there. The controls were a lot more touchy and the plane really zooooms. But in a way, its easier to control because of it too. So anyway that turned out to be a good flight lesson today. Thats one barrier I've moved past. After flying I came back home and did some reading and more organizing of my things here. I kinda just hung out for a bit waiting for a friend to come by because he was going to sleep here tonight. After he arrived I then got him settled in somewhat and I then went shopping. It was time to get some food in this place. I rung up the longest recept I've ever run up at a store before.. this thing is like two feet long. I also had my shopping cart heaping over in all directions.. people kinda looked at me funny it felt like. But now I have food and I hope I don't have to buy groceries for quite awhile. One thing thats kind of annoying about getting an apartment for just the summer is the fact I have to buy lots of things I won't use after these three months. I had to buy pots and pans.. lights.. knifes.. silverware.. you know.. all that "stuff" you need in a house. Then after I move back in the dorm I won't have anything to do with it... it kind of stinks. Oh well.. I need to get to sleep now since I have to wake up at 7:00 tomorrow morning so I can be ready for worship team practice at church.. so I'll say good night!

hey guys.. I'm sitting out side in my car somewhere leeching off of someone's wireless internet. the internet connection at my house has been funky and not working since the thunderstorm we had last night. I hope I can get it fixed soon because its pretty annoying not having it. Nothing too much exciting happend worth saying yesterday though... today I went out to dinner with Allie Pete and Julie at Vinnys for Britt's last day working there before she leaves to Oklahoma on sunday for the summer. It was pretty fun. It was like my first real meal it seems since I moved off campus. I've been living of Ramen and Cereal pretty much. Anyway.. I'm gonna head back to my apartment with a useless phone line at the moment. Hopefully I can get it working. So good night people!

Hey people! It seemed like a long day today. I left for work at 9:30 this morning and then didn't get back to my house till around 10:30 at night. I worked all day then went to church and then stayed after to setup for the worship powerpoint for sunday. After getting back tonight I then still had to organize my house somewhat. I'm really really ready for bed now though. I'm extrememly tired for some reason. Night!

Hey All! I have one of my computers up now in my summer house. I will try and get the others up shortly so you can see all three cameras on my webcam page. But I found out the internet connection here isn't just slow because of dial up.. its just plain slow in general. Normally I should connect around 48K or so but here I have dial up speeds of around 21K talk about SLLLOOOOOWW. I did get a lot done today as far as organizing is concerned though. But I didn't actually get started until midnight tonight. I ended up flying after work today for the first time in like three weeks. I had to make sure to get some refresher landings in.. but I think next time I go up he is going to make me solo. Yeah.. I'm pretty nervous about that. Anyway after I got done flying today I went over to the D-bergs house and we made chocolate covered strawberries. They were nowhere near as good as they were at the strawberry festival we went to a few weeks ago, but they still were decent. I ended up hanging out there for a while tonight. Brittany and Jo today ended up finding a baby duck that was an outcast from his family outside of thier house. Jo rescued it from some domestic violence that was going on there and they took care of it the rest of this evening. They don't plan on keeping it or anything, but it was realy cute and its too bad they can't. So Britt and I played with the duck (Puddles) for a bit too. Allie has summer school now though so I didn't stay too late so she could get to bed early for that. After getting back to my place I sat and talked to the guys that are staying with me for awhile and we did some stuff on the computers. I then went back to my room and tried to get some stuff cleaned up. Now that its well past three oclock I think I better head to bed though. Goodnight everyone!

Well everybody.. if you haven't noticed I have not blogged in a few days. The apartment I moved into does not have a phone jack.. or high speed internet available. I had to call in and at least get phone service and that should be due to be setup on tuesday. I'm at least now all moved into my apartment but I have everything just shoved into my room all in boxes still and I won't really do much unpacking until the other guy that is there right now moves out on tuesday to go home for the summer. I've mostly just spent most of my time over at the donnebergs this weekend hanging out with friends and the family.. Its been a great time doing that. Jo made us all homemade pizzas on saturday and that was really cool. They were really good too. Then we had some left over fireworks from last year that we blew off in celebration for school being out. It was cool. Once I get my internet back up at home I can blog in more detail and stuff.. but for now.. I just wanted to make a quick note and let you all know I was still alive. I'm going to head out for now though. Adios!

Hey everybody. I'm almost completely moved out of my dorm now. I think I have one more trip to make tomorrow morning and I'll be all set. Today was a pretty hectic day over all though. I had to get the majority of the stuff out of my room today and then get it all back to my other place and try to organize it somewhat. I then had to meet up with Jonathan and Robert by 11:00, then still find time for lunch (last meal at the marriot) and get to work by one. In the end it all worked out but I still kind of pushed it a little. My apartment is pretty cool though. It has a good veiw and I'm right next to a horse ranch so I can go pet the horses anytime I want. Plus it is really cheap so that helps things a lot. I will need it in order to pursue flying some more this summer since that is so expensive. This evening I made another few trips to my apartment to drop some stuff off and then I had a little bit of free time for once. I was able to start the process of getting my brazil trip pictures up online. I might be able to finish that up by next week. I know thats taken forever for me to have time. Anyway, I'm going to turn in a little early tonight since I can!! =) yay! Night!

Man.. sorry guys I know you have all been getting gypt lately because I haven't had time to blog that much. Finals week and moving out of the dorms that same week can really take a lot of time... My day was full today with all the moving.. I helped Allie move out today. I'm really tired tonight and I can't type much more at this moment. Today was a really really good day for me. I had a good time with it. First the day started out great because I was able to eat breakfast with Allie before going to work. At work things stayed fairly busy so the time seemed to fly by & thats always nice (Andy still took off). Britt, Rob, and Allie then all met me at my work. Then as soon as we closed up shop they all hopped in my van and we went on our way to Roanoke. Today was the Strawberry festival down there and we had a great time. They had chocolate covered strawberrys and those were very very good. We also had some shortcake and stuff too. Besides the fact that everything was super expensive it was fun. It was a fairly nice day too up until right when we left.. so we got lucky as far as the rains are concerned. We ended up leaving roanoke and coming back to lynchburg around 6:00 so we could make it to a 8:00 showing of "Fiddler on the Roof" It was a play put on by Timberlake Christian School and they actually did a pretty good job for a highschool play. I was glad we went. Another thing that made the play so great was the fact that Pastor Larry was there too (along with some other familys we know from church). It was really really good to see him again and I know I miss him. I wish I could see him more often. Anyway after the play we all just headed over to Britt & Allie's house to say a quick hello to the family and munch on some popcorn before turning in for the night and coming back to campus. After getting back to campus though I dropped off Allie and then had to go take care of some stuff. Also today at the Strawberry Festival I heard Allie say she wanted a funnel cake. Turns out they didn't have any there so after getting back I went and got Allie a Funnel cake. She said it was really good. I wish I would have snuck a bite before I went to her dorm and gave it to her so I could try it =) LOL. After getting everything with that accomplished I then came back to my room and attempted to get some accounting studying done. I don't think I barely made a dent in what I need to do. I might just have to get some done tomorrow and monday. Anyway.. I need to get to sleep now though cause I have church really early tomorow! Night! PS. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!

Only had class again for 20 minutes today, then it was all over for me. Thats always a good day of class. I needed that extra time to get some studing done and stuff. I am also working on a project for church this sunday and extra time was def a good thing for that. Anyway as soon as Allie got out of class today though we ended up going to eat lunch together. Allie took me out this time. We ended up going to Waffle House. It felt a little weird letting her buy my meal this time, but it just goes to show how terrific she really is. I have to let her serve me too everonce in awhile I guess =). It was a good time though and I really enjoyed it (thanks a lot Allie your the greatest). After eating we both went and sat at the public library and talked for awhile. I think it has been over 5 years since I've been to a public library... it was weird walking into one again. Anyway after leaving there I took her back to her car and we went our separate ways off to work for the day. WOrk was fairly normal today but just as I was leaving work today (driving out of the parking lot) Andy called me and told me that his wife's water broke and the baby should be coming any time now. So I wonder if he has arrived yet. I guess I'll find out tomorrow! So after work I ended up meeting up with Robert and he treated me to Dinner at Vinnys tonight so we could visit Britt. Britt has been working like crazy today and she was soo tired. Then her boss was causing more problems.. so she needed some company. It was really nice to spend some time with both her and Robert. However I had lots of things to do tonight back at my room so I couldn't really stay too much more then an hour & 1/2. I think she was glad we both came though. (Thanks Rob for buying me dinner too!). After getting back to my room I basicly had to do all my homework and get that thing done for church.. so I had my hands full with all that. We then had hall meeting and prayer groups as usual. Even though my day of actual class was pretty small.. I still feel mentally drained and in need of sleep. Studying seems to get to me worse then just going to class and stuff. I'm glad for the break to hang out with my girlfriend for awhile though or I probalby wouldn't have made it... I'm thankful for her and my many other friends.. God has sure blessed me! Now I'm going to go reap the blessing of sleep.. Night!

Today my accounting class got out early... that was nice since I dislike that class with an extreme passion. I used the extra time to spend with my Lord in devotions. Afterwards we had the last convocation of the year! . Then Jonathan, Robert and I went and spent some time together after convo just talking about some things. It was good to sit and spend some time with the guys. I then had to finish off classes with my Stats class (bleh!, but better then accounting). Work today was pretty normal, Jen still hasn't had the baby yet and Andy and Jen were up last night at the hospital from 1:00 to 4:00am thinking the baby would come... but nope never happend. I know they are both getting anxious... maybe it will happen tomorrow His birthday would be 05-05-05 if it does. Anyway after work I headed over to church thinking Allie wouldn't be there because she had something else needing to be done at the church on campus tonight. But it was a pleasant surpise being able to see her at church still (the campus church thing didn't work out). I was really glad she was able to make it. Anyway church was pretty good tonight and we also had communion so thats always a good thing. But on the way back to campus Allie and I decided to stop in and get some latenight from the Marriot before heading back to our rooms for the evening. All in all it was a very good day... but I think its the fact that I have a beautful, incredible, amazing girlfriend that just makes a fairly normal day a terrific day!!!

Today I had a short first class again.. then I was done with school for the rest of the day. I ended up getting a lot of homework done during those times I would normally have class.. I was even able to still have a fairly long lunch time spent with my girlfriend today too! Thats always nice. After she left to work I had to run and do a service call before going to my work. I ended up being at the building for about two hours today and I didn't get to the shop till around 3:00... the rest of the work day was rather mundane... Once I got back to campus tonight I just grabbed some take out dinner and went to my room to finish up some homework items. By 9:00 I stopped with my homework and Allie and I went to a prayer leader meeting and afterwards we met up with Robert and went out for late night. After walking Allie back to her dorm, Robert and I ended up having a talk about some stuff before I returned to my room for good. I attempted to work on my accounting homework some more but its too late now to finish all the way. I'll have to finish it up tomorrow. I hate accounting.. yep yep.. thats an affirmative on the hating of accounting. Good night

Well today started the last week of offical classes. I have some last minute homework stuff I need to work on all through this week and try and get some studying started ahead of time before finals week. Today after work though I had to do some laundry so I went to the Donnbergs for the evening and got my laundry going, then I helped Chuck for the better part of the evening with ebay stuff and computer stuff. I did manage to get some homework things done though. Allie and I were waiting for the laundry as long as possible so it could all dry, so we ended up having to push it to get back to campus on time. I ended up dropping her off and then I had to run back from the pit after parking my car. I still had quite a few things to do though after getting back to campus so I'm up late once again... I need to stop now and head to bed I think. Good night.

Hey everybody! I'm back from my nice weekend down in North Carolina! It was a nice relaxing weekend and I had a whole lot of fun. Sorry I never really blogged while I was down there though, the computer didn't really work wireless upstairs all that well for me. It was basicly not useable because it kept cutting in and out. We went to church down there today though before coming back to lynchburg and we went to one called summit church. It was really good and Allie and I both liked it a lot. The sermon for today was "Understanding Men" (last week was Understanding Women).. you can get them online at www.summitchurch.cc they were pretty good. Ok well anyway.. just though I would write a quick note.. sorry its not all that detailed but I'm really tired and can't do much more. I have my last week of school starting tomorrow.. thats going to be cool... what a wonderful thought. OK I'm gone.. night!
