Today I got setup to take my avaition written test wednesday morning. I have studied hard all weekend. If you guys could keep that in prayer that would be great. Once I pass this I'll be a few steps away from the practical exam. I ended up going to work at 10 this morning as I would have to leave for a class at 4:20. Work was pretty busy today and I know we have lots to do. My class tonight was long and boring. We did group project presenations. It basicly took the whole three hours to do it. It turned out to be a long day for me as I then had to go to a prayerleader meeting after that. It was nice to spend a little time with Allie at the meeting though, the subject matter was nothing too special though as he just basicly reads his powerpoint slides and has us fill in blanks.. pretty bad.. Anyway After the meeting I just studied my aviation books some more. I would say I should probalby get to bed now though. I have an early class tomorrow. Night!

Today was a really cool day. We had missions emphasis day at church and we had two missionaries speak. They lead worship and pretty much did the whole thing. It was really cool. With one of the couple's (Marcus & Jen) Allie and I really took a liking too. They are so freindly and still pretty young. They've only been married just over a year. We decided that next time they come to lynchburg we would get together with them and have lunch. They were excited to do that too. The rest of the afternoon Allie and I studied and worked on homework after having lunch at the Donnebergs. We didn't stay there too late this sunday though because we wanted to return to campus for spiritual emphasis week church service tonight. It was a good service too, but just fairly normal. After the service I returned to my room to continue with my studies. And then that pretty much covers it. I'm going to head to bed. Night!

Today turned out to be pretty productive. I have gotten all of my homework done and quite a bit of studying for my avaition test. I ended up deciding to take my aviation written test wednesday morning next week. So pray about that, that I'll get it all figured out. This morning in my missions class we talked about our own relationships with God. It was a really good class today. After class Allie and I went to breakfast and prayed together for awhile. I then had all of my other classes today as well. I surprisingly stayed awake through all of them too. With each break between classes I was able to do homework for each one. After all my classes were done Allie and I went to dinner and then we came back to prepare for prayer groups and finish up with homework. My group tonight was pretty cool. I have two new guys now and I think we will have a lot of fun together. Anyway I probably should get to bed now. My eyes are starting to droop. Night to everyone!

Well it got late on me tonight. I would have liked to get some more stuff done but I should probably just save it for tomorrow. I have an early class tomorrow.

Today was another full day of classes. Between my first two classes however Allie and I had a break long enough to go to breakfast. We had a great time talking and laughing together during the break. It was fun. The rest of the day I just went to class off an on through the day doing homework between classes. Earlier in the evening I ended up going to dinner with my Pastor tonight at La Carretta Mexian Restaraunt. It was good conversation and we both learned from each other tonight. It was great. After meeting with him I returned back to my dorm around 10:00 or so and tried to get some more reading done for my classes. I got really tired now though so I should get to bed. Night!

This morning I had Andy come pick me up from school and I went to work with him today. I had called the car garage and told them about my van this morning at 8:30. By the time Andy and I had got to work (around 9:30) they had already called me back and told me what they had found wrong and an estimate on what needs to be done to fix it. Turns out that it was the freeze plugs that were causing the leak. They would need to be replaced. However because of the way my van is made, the only way to get to the plugs is to remove the transmission and expose the engine block. That would be a lengthy job and they estimated about $550 to get the job done. I thought about it for a little bit and called them back to have them do it. The day at work was fairly typical and nothing too exciting happend there today. About 12:00 they called me back again and told me that my clutch was wearing down and would probably need to be replaced in the year, he recommended just doing it now though because while the transmission was out they could do it without any extra labor charge. The clutch itself was another $150 though. But I went ahead and did that too. Then surprisingly at about 3:00 they gave me another call and it was ready to go already. They are really good! So I had to be at a class today at 4:40 and Chuck was nice enough to come and pick me up from work and take me to class. By the time he got there though I decided I could just have him drop me off at the shop and I could pick up my van and drive myself. So he did that for me. Thanks a lot Chuck! When I went in to pay for my van I found out that they helped me out on the price quite a bit. They ended up shaving off about $200 worth of stuff for me since I work on thier computers. Normally because I also got the cluctch changed it would have been about $750. But the final price ended up being about $580. They also did a complete oil change for me as well. It seems to be running great now! My car is happy again! If that doesn't show you God's provision I can't think of anything that would. Thank you everybody for the prayers, clearly God heard them!
After returning to campus for my class I had to kind of hurry because I was running a little bit late. But I still made it in time for my class and it went from 4:50 - 8:10). I'm not sure what to think about that class yet. I kinda think it may be a busy work class. I know already I'll need to write a 30page research paper in it. That was a big bummer to find out. Oh well, if God can make the repair on my van work out cheaply and sucussefully, whose to complain about a paper? God will get me through I know! Afterwards I met with Allie for a bit to eat some dinner and then we had a prayer leader meeting. That was finally the last thing of the day for me though. I could finally get back to my room. I had quite a bit to do tonight after getting back since I hadn't been here at all today. I am up pretty late, its kinda sad. I have to wake up early too. I better get to bed. Night!

Church was really good today! I was able to sit down in the congregation today too and not be stuck up in the crowsnest running powerpoint. They ended up doing really well today without me. I was able to sit down next to Allie and Worship alongside her. That made the already good service great! For lunch Allie and I went over to the spurlins house for lunch. On the way there my car "explodeded" on me. Smoke was coming out of the engine and steam from the radiator. The oil cap popped off when I looked under the hood. I tried to find where it went but I really had no clue. It was lost forever. So anyway the oil smoked the radiator steamed. When I tried to add more antifreeze to it I watched underneath as it came right back out again. I waited for about half an hour and drove it up the street to the spurlins as it was only another 2 minutes away. I then had it towed from there to the place I have it worked on. Normally I would call that a bad day.. but you know what? I'm not that upset over it. I just trust the lord and leave it in his hands. Whatever will work out will work out. Plus having my darling Allie by my side the whole time really brightens any bad day. How can I be sad with her around? After dealing with the car and finishing up with lunch at the spurlins, My Allie and I went back to her house (by a ride from Melinda) and she did homework while I did some reading for the rest of the night. We then took Allie's car back to campus and turned in for the night!

Well today was a great day. I had taken the day off work so I could go down to NC and celebrate Dan's birthday today. Allie and I made the trip together. I drove the whole way there yesterday night and we got there around 9:00 or so. We kinda did a quick celebration thing for him that evening just because that day was his real birthday. Since it was so late though we didn't get to do all that much. Pretty much everybody went to bed after that. Allie, Sam, and I however stayed up a little later and we watch American Idol Episodes 1 & 2. It was awsome. Its even that much better watching it with Allie because she loves it so much. She is soooo cute! We ended up getting done watching those around 1:00 or so and headed to our rooms for bed. This mornign though we did the real birthday celebration at a big bowling alley, skate rink, arcade, type thing. They had a big party room and a bunch of other kids had come too. I know he loved his party, it was great. I was glad I got to go. Dan was happy we could come too! After the bowling was all over we headed back to the house and hung out there for the rest of the day. For dinner by request of the birthday boy we had stuffed shells, corn on the cob, and shrimp. Sounds like a weird combo but man was it all good! Allie and I were able to stay for a little longer after that, but I had to be back for church tomorrow so we needed to leave that night. We left around 9:00. Now we are back at the Donnebergs for the rest of tonight. We will be going back to campus tomorrow morning. I really enjoyed the trip though and I know Dan was really glad I could come.

I had all of my classes today. It was a really really great day though. I started out the day being able to go to class with Allie. If thats not enough, its also a really awsome class. I think I am going to love it. It is the one about missionary relationships. After that we had a long enough break to be able to go and have some breakfast together. So taht was cool too. My next class wasn't until around 12:00ish so I ended up going back to my room and starting some project stuff for that first class. After getting to my next class I found out that the professor is from Brazil. So that was fun, he has a really strong accent too! That class should be a pretty typical class I think though. Regular computer work type stuff. After that class I again had another break an I ended up using that to go eat some lunch. It was fun cause I had lunch with Allie's RA. It was kinda cool. Then my final class for the day was a little shakey. He had to figure out if we could reschedule the class. Turns out what we all decided on was having the whole class for two hours on thursdays and not having class at all on tuesday. That works out pretty good! Anyway I would have to say my first day of class was nice. All was good!

Well, school starts tomorrow. I guess I'm ready for it in a way. Its my last ditch effort to graduate. Hope it all goes well! =) My last two days before class have been busy but good. I worked full time on Monday again and ended up staying a little bit late to get to a stopping point on a project we were working on. But I was due for dinner over at the Donnebergs monday night so I couldn't stay to finish it. Dinner sure was fun though. Scott and Steph had come over and they actually provided the pizza for us all. It was fun having them around. It was fun to see Scott turn red because he was laughing so hard over stuff. Ah.. good times.. =). Afterwards Alie and I headed back to campus. Yeah.. she is back now too. So anyway we talked for awhile that evening in Demoss before going to back to the dorms for the night.

I had to wake up early today though because I had to get to work and finish that project we didn't get done last night. I ended up getting to work at 8:30. I actually stopped in for breakfast at the Marriot before heading out thouhg. It was my first meal at the dinning hall this semester. In a way.. I kinda missed it. Anyway I was able to get to the job site around 8:30 and I had it all setup and configured finally by 11:30. So that worked out pretty well. The rest of the day was kind busy too back at that shop though but we held out strong. Later this evening was really fun though. It was Chuck's birthday today and we had a good time with that. I went over to thier house for dinner and we had fondue. It was a lot of fun.. I ate quite a bit. We also got him lots of cool presents for his vacation (Jo surpised him tonight with a trip they are taking and she planned it all out and they are leaving thrusday). So anyway that was really fun and I know he enjoyed it. Anyway I am back at the dorm now starting to get ready for bed. I will have to train myself to get back on a schedule of some sort. Night!

Today was great! Church was awsome and the day at the Donnebergs was awsome too! I helped Chuck setup a comptuer at his neighbors house and then Allie and I watched Seabiscut together. It was just a good day, too bad it had to end. School starts this week too =o(. Ok well. Night everyone!

I forgot to write a blog last night letting you all know that I finished the class. Its over and I passed. So that is exciting. Taking an entire class in a week instead of 3 months kind of has perks. I did actually enjoy the class too so that is always a nice thing too. The Donnebergs were extremely nice and invited me over for dinner last night to cool down from the intense week. It was nice and relaxing. Today I had to work all day. I ended up being the only one at the shop all day. We were fairly busy too so that was a little rough. After work I ended up meeting up with a lady to show her how to use a new computer toy that she just got. Its actually really nice. I hope she remembers how it all works. After that I just came back to campus and I studied aviation stuff the rest of the night. Man my brain kinda hurts. I think I've been studying that stuff for about 5 hours straight. I really need to get to bed. Night!

Well, I've made it so far. I only have one more day left. I had one of the tests yesterday and I ended up getting an 80% on it. That wasn't too bad I guess. He said he will look over questions still and see if any need to be thrown out. So if so that will help some. I had to write two papers today also. That was kinda rough and my eyes are hurting from staring at the comptuer screen all day. But they all turned out well I think and all the papers are done now. I just have the final test tomorrow after about half a day of class. Its closing in. Still keep me in prayer though. Thanks everybody for the support in it so far. Night all!

Man it was a long day today. I am really tired tonight for some reason. I had to do a presentation for my class today and write another paper. I also really do need to read the chapters from the book. I didn't get very far on the chapters though. At around 6:30 I went over to the chuch to talk with my pastor and I ended up being there until about 10:15. It was a really really good time of talking. I came back and caught up on some more reading though but I still have more to do tomorrow before the test. Oh one more thing I wanted to say... I am now signed up to take a missions class with Allie next semester. It should be a lot of fun. I hope it all works out. That means I'll end up having 18 credits next semester. Anyway.. gotta get to bed. Night!

Well, I managed to stay awake all day through my class. It actually isn't so bad. Basicly we had class from 8am to 11.. then a 2 hour lunch from 11 to 1. After that we finished the day from 1 to 4 with the last part of it. It is really long class time, but so far it hasn't been too hard. I had a ton of reading to do tonight though and my eyes kinda hurt now. I will probalby be heading to bed shortly. Good night everyone!

Today was a long, but good day. At work I went and setup a new server over at one of the local businesses around town. That job took basicly all day, I did take a quick 20 minute break to run to campus and get the book I needed for my intensive next week. But I ended up working about 45 minutes after three today to make sure everything was set since I won't be able to go in next week (at least I don't think I will) Directly after work I ended up meeting with Chuck and we hung out the rest of the evening. It was really good and we managed to have some good conversations too. We even ended up going out to eat at Texas Steak House. It was really really good. I have had a LOT of steak over the past few days it seems. Its good too cause once I get back on campus we never have steak. I forgot how much I missed it. But the restaruant sure was cool and we had a good time just chilling and chatting. I know I had a lot of fun. So anyway we didn't really get back to the house until around 10:00 tonight. It didn't leave me any time to really get started on some pre-reading assignments for my buisness class. I should be able to get it done by tomorrow though. It was well worth postponing that for a good time with chuck tonight though. I didn't get to see Allie much after getting back as she went to bed early. I probalby should start to bed now though. I guess its time now. I do have to wake up and be at church early again tomorrow morning. Ok well night!

Hey, I remembered to blog tonight. Aren't you proud of me =o).. Anyway today was another hectic busy day at work.. Just lots to do as I get ready to take all of next week off for my intensive. As I finished up work today I headed back home to the D-bergs and Allie and Chuck had left to go have some Pop n Daughter time. So I ended up taking Jo out for dinner tonight to just spend some time with her. That was nice and I'm glad I was able to do that. We ended up going to cracker barrel and I had a really big breakfast for dinner thing. It was great! I had lots of bacon. After getting back home I wired up the downstairs basement for surround sound. It took me the whole night after getting back but now its done and sounds pretty good down here. Can't wait to test it out with our next movie we watch. Ok well anyway it got late for doing that.. Time for me to get to bed. Night!

Hey All, Yesterday at work was really really crazy busy. I got off and I just wanted to relax. So no better way to relax then to take a beautiful girl out for a nice dinner. I ended up taking Allie to Outback for dinner. We both ordered Prime Rib Steak. It was really really good. It was a lot of fun too. We had some Aussie cheese fries too, I ended up making a little person out of the bread and the leftover fries. Then the when we were done and the lady came around to put the leftovers in a box for us.. She was like "Do you want your cheese monster too?" I think she thought it was funny. Anyway after dinner we went to school because we wanted to just find a nice place to sit and talk and we ended up sitting in the foyer of Demoss and prayed together and just talked about some stuff. It was good. After we got back last night though, Allie went to bed fairly soon afterwards. I ended up just going downstairs and I remember sitting on the couch to read my e-mail on my laptop. I still had my jacket on and everything. Next thing I remember I woke up at 7am when my alarm went off. I had no blanket and my jacket was still on and the light was still on too. So apparently I passed out in the middle of something. I do remember that I was at least laying down for the most part so my neck wasn't too screwed up. But anyway, that was exciting huh?

So this morning I wake up and spend some time with Allie before she leaves to her practicum. After she left I decided to go back to bed for another hour or so. I woke up in time to get to work though. Today was not quite as hectic as yesterday but still busy. I was glad to be done. After work I headed over to church and the Hartmans ended up feeding me some dinner there. It was really good chicken noodle soup too! The service tonight was what we call encounter. Its just time of prayer and reflection then we have communion. It was good though. Afterwards Allie and I made a quick Wally World trip to pick up some stuff Allie needed and some pictures she had developing there. Once we got back we just got ready to be in the rest of the night. I decided I better catch up on my blogs and then.. possibly turn in early. It may not happen, but we'll see. At least I got this out of the way now though. =) Night!

Hey All, today I had another fairly busy day at work, the eveing turned out pretty fun though as I went over to my pastors house for dinner. We all had a great time. Dinner was pretty good, but we just had fun talking and being stupid during the meal. At one point Pastor and his son were playing football with a big fruitcake thing throwing across the room until it exploded on impact. That was some good stuff. Later I showed Jason how e-bay works as we tried to find him an Xbox on there. We didn't actually get one tonight but now he knows what to look for. It was fun to see Pastor John get all worked up over the bid stealers. It got pretty close. Then we watched part of a football game too. You will all be surpised but I actually got into it. It was pretty intense. Started out with a huge lead at halftime, but then after halftime the comback was swift and they were coming at them strong. It was great. I wonder what the coach threatend them with back in the lockeroom. Anyway that was fun. So anyway I ended up hanging out with them until around 10:30 tonight and then I left to come back to the Donnebergs tonight. After getting here I talked for another hour and half or so to Allie before she went to bed. But it all turned out to be a great day. I did have a great time staying with Jonathan for the past few days too.. wanted to leave a note for him and thank him for the time I could spend with him this weekend. Thanks bro. Ok anyway I need to head to bed. I may wake up early and make a trip to the school before work. Night!!

Happy new year everybody, I didn't really do anything exciting for it though. I just worked then had dinner with Han Tan then went to the church to do some stuff then went to johnathans house were we just moved part of his room downstairs and cleaned up a little and then pretty much went to bed. I didn't even watch TV to see the coutdown. Its not really that big of deal to me anyway. Sunday service was really good though he shared some good truths relating to new years resolutions and trying to get rid of bad habits & behaviors. The rest of the afternoon I went to the Donnebergs and it was my last day with Britt before she heads back to Oklahoma. It was fun, she was gone for part of the day though to spend a little time with her mom. But it was still cool to have her around. We will miss you Britt!! Anyway, I kinda have another long day ahead of me. Full day of work then I will be going to my pastors house for dinner. It should be a lot of fun there. Anyway.. thats all for me now. I have to head off to work.
