Hey Guys! I've compleatly forgot to blog that past couple nights. I've been staying at a house of a family from my church. All they have is dial up internet. I just haven't thought about blogging lately since I haven't been online much. All i've done this weekend though is chill here and watch the house and the Dog. I've been doing quite a bit of homework here though. Its been nice because people on my dorm can't just come in and start talking to me while I"m reading or writing a paper. I just now though of doing the blog though so I connected and wrote one really quick. I'll try to remember to write one later tonight. But for now I think I"m going to go. TTYL

It has begun again... me falling asleep in my classes. I had Theology, Church Ministries, and Government. I was fighting the sleep the entire day. I didn't fight hard enough in Theo or Govt, it won. I hope tomorrow I'm not so tired. Those classes are just going to all be lecture classes... I don't know how I'll make it with a full day of lectures. Today was just more sylabi reading. Thats all I have to say about that. Today we got a new Server at work. So we had toys to play with today. Its a Dell Presision Dual 2.8Ghz XEON machine with 4GB of Ram and 500GB SCSI HD space. It is defenatly a nice machine. After work I was going to head strait over the Miller's house but they got busy running errands so we had to post pone it until tomorrow night. So instead I went up into Dorm 2 (a girls dorm) and fixed a computer for one of them up there. I did get it mostly working.. but the internet went down because of a thunderstorm we were having outside so I couldn't do my final checks or anything. I think it was working well though. While I was up there we watched Ms Congeniallity. about 15 other girls came into the room and hung out with us too.. I guess they liked the idea of a guy being on their dorm. It was fun though. I had to be back by 10:00 however for Hall meeting tonight. I had to lead the group again tonight. I inherited 3 more guys tonight... they said the groups will keep changing though by next week I should have my permant guys for the group. I was bombarded with more homework again today.. I finally was able to get most of it done tonight.. I just have to write a short paper sometime this weekend. So I think I'm going to go to bed now.. so I can stay awake in class tomorrow. SO I'll talk to you later! night!

It was the first day of classes today. I had Old Testament to begin with followed by Communications. After that was Convocation/Chapel then Marketing. I wold comment on what I think the classes were like, but I don't know yet. It was just a full day of them reading the sylabus. So I'll have to let you know what its like once we actually start getting into stuff. Anyway after classes I went to lunch, then to work. (I forgot to turn in the key today, I'll have to do it tomorrow). I was at work until about 6:15 today some customers were there for a little longer past closing today. But I still made it to dinner on time before it closed. (despite the long line). I found Kat and Becky and Brooke and Ginny and Smitty all there tonight at dinner so I sat with them. Then I went to Campus church with Brooke once I finished eating. Campus church was really good tonight too. A bunch of students even went forward as well. But after that was over I was finally able to go back to my dorm and put my backpack down. I hadn't been back all day since 8:00. I was gone for 14 hours. From 7:30m - 9:30pm. It was nice to be able to finally set my bag down.. it is very heavy this symester. I had to do a lot of reading tonight though. They gave me homework already. I had to read about 30 pages out of 2 books. It was rough reading too. Victoria also stopped by tonight and dropped off her laptop so I could work on it some tonight. I was able to get it mostly finished, but she went to sleep before I could let her know it was done. The phone were down tonight too so I couldn't call her. Elizabeth came over again tonight at 11:00, I invited her to come to my church this sunday.. She said she would. I was excited about that. She was here until 11:50 or so, I wasn't able to talk to her the whole time though. Tyler had to take over for the last half. I got a phone call on my cell phone I needed to take care of. By the time I got off the phone she was gone already. I was able to say bye to her online once she got back to her dorm though. Well I'm off to bed I think now. I had to stay up this late so I could finish all that reading. I have more 8:00's tomorrow so I need to get my sleep. Talk to you later!

Today was my last free day. Tomorrow the inevitable happends. Classes begin. Yes, I know its sad isn't it. But I made good use of my last day. I woke up and helped out with some moving at church this morning. I had to be there by 8:00. I didn't get to sleep in on my last day which would have been nice though. But I was happy to help at the church so I'm glad I was able to do that. We all finished up there around 9:45 or so. After which I came back to campus and did all my bill canceling. (Phone, Electric, Cable, Insurance, ect) from my apartment. So the final bill will be next month and then I won't have to worry about paying bills anymore for awhile. Then around 12:00 I headed to lunch, I tryied to hurry a little though because I had to stop at my apartment before work so I could pick up the shelf andy let me borrow. I had to return it. That was the last thing I needed to take out of my house. I am going to go ahead and turn in the key tomororw I think. Work was another strait forward day where nothing too exciting happends but we don't get too bored either. So once I got off work I headed back to campus again for dinner. We were going to have a worship team practice tonight at church. But Luis cancelled it because a lot of the people wanted to come to the Block party. So since I didn't ahve to go to that I just went ahead and went to the Block party. Switchfoot was there in concert tonight. It was a lot of fun. They sang "Only Hope" thats one of my favorite songs. I was also in a mosh pit that had gotten started where I was standing. That was sure and interesting experience. Then people started to crowd surf also. I never crowd surfed... but I was a wave, that was cool. Anyway, the concert was great and then they had fireworks afterwards. Libety always does a great job on fireworks. Once that was over though I just came back to the dorm and got bombarded with Comptuer questions from random people. So I took care of some of those while I tried to chat with my mom online. I also had to Help out Kat with her comptuer tonight as well. I got all the comptuer problems pretty much fixed though, and once I was done with those, I chatted online with Brooke for awhile. I really do need to get to bed now though. I have the first day of class tomororw. I want to be able to stay awake. So Off to bed I go!! Night!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BECCA!! My sister's birthday was today.. if you know her... make sure you bombard her with IM's, Phone calls, Gifts, Money, or any other interesting thing you can come up with. Well, today I had more meetings to attend for prayer leader training. I was glad I went though because they handed out our Liberty ID cards at the end of it. After that was over I headed to lunch. It was probalby the longest line I had ever seen for lunch today. It was very interesting.. it almost wrapped around the parking lot. I finally was able to get in though, I had to eat kind of quick though because I had to get to work by 1:00. I made it on time though. Work was a pretty standard day however not much new went on. The guys were going to stay after tonight again and play some games and things. I couldn't stay though because they threw another meeting at me from 7:00 until 9:00 tonight. It was a fun meeting tonight though, it was our RA's birthday so they had a small party after we had the buisness taken care of. I still had to go over to my apartment though tonight and do some cleaning. I also had to pick up some chairs because Elizabeth and Stephanie (two girls I met last night) were going to come by my window and chat around 11:00. I ended up talking to my nieghbor though and it took a little longer then I expected to get everything cleaned up. Laurie came along with me though and she helped out quite a bit so I was able to finish around 10:50. But after I dropped off the chairs and a couple other things from my apartment and then parked my car it was already 11:25. The girls were there though talking to my other roomate so they didn't get stood up. That was good. I was able to get them the chair and talk to them for at least a half an hour though. They are pretty fun to talk to. Well Thats about all that happended to me today. I have to get to bed though because I have to wake up tomorrow at 7:00 and help out some guys from church. So I'm going to say night for now.. and One more time. Happy Birthday to my Sister. Night =).

Man.. I am so tired.. I think I"m going to turn in early tonight. I got to sleep around 1:30 or 2 last night.. and I had to wake up at 6:30 this morning. I didn't actually crawl out of bed until 7:00 though. But I had to take a shower and get ready to be at the church by 8:00 this morning for worship team practice. Everything went really good today. It was nice because almost everyone was back in town now, so the numbers were way back up again. After church I went out to lunch with a bunch of the returning college kids. It was a lot of fun to see everyone again. After that I went over to Ryan's house (The youth leader at church) and helped him with a problem with his computer. Then I stayed for awhile and he was making BBQ burgers so he made me one too. But I had to get going after about 2 hours because I needed to go to Kroger and pick up a Birthday cake for Will. (It was his birthday on the 21st) I also needed to get him a card and things so I went ahead and did that while I was there. I was able to get it all taken care of and still make it to the pool party the chruch group was having today starting at 4:00. It was a baptism as well tonight, that was really cool. I ended up hanging out there until around 9:00 or so. Also on a sad note... Tonight was the last time I'll be able to see Allie for about 6 weeks. She is going to be heading to Brazil on a mission trip this thursday. Keep her in your prayers that she'll be safe, and the Lord will do his work though her. I had to say my good bye's to her tonight. =(. Well anyway.. once I left the pool party I just came strait back to campus and read all my e-mails that have been storing up.. and I think I"ll just go to bed now. I'm dozing off while writing this. Buh Bye!

Today was a fun day of meeting up with old friends. After I got back from Richmond.. the first thing I did was go see Becky. She had just gotten here about 4 hours before I did. So I had to go and see her. After that we made plans to go to dinner over at Joe and Deborahs with Kat and Brooke (Kat & Becky's new roomate). But before we did that we went and picked up some things from my apartment to take over to thier place. While we were doing that we picked up some things to go to Becky's dorm room. Jessica also came along and we stopped by her storage unit and picked up a box she needed to bring back with her also. They were both very heavy boxes though, So I ended up carring them both into thier rooms for them. (three floors for Becky's box). Once we dropped off the goods. Becky, Brooke, and I drove over to Joe and Deborahs for dinner, Kat met us there with her car. I helped make dinner, which was chicken stir fry, while we all just hung out and talked for awhile. Once dinner was over we played UNO for the rest of the night. Kat and Becky bailed early though because they were tired and Kat drove both of them back. Brooke and I stayed and played with the family for about another hour or so. We ended up leaving around 11:30. We stopped and got slurppees on the way back. She is a pretty cool girl. I got to know her pretty well on the drive back. I wonder if she'll be able to handle rooming with the "sisters" who get in tickle fights at random times or talk in code or laugh for no apparent reason all of a sudden. I guess we'll see what happends. I think she should be able to handle it though. Well anyway.. I just finished my slurpee so I better get to bed. I have to be at church at 8:00 for practice tomorrow. I just got back from richmond.. I'll say a little about my trip right now and I'll blog about the rest of today, tonight. I ended up forgetting to sign out for over night on my dorm.. so I had to stop back here right after work rather then head strait to richmond. But it was only about and extra 10-15 minutes extra. I was able to make it to richmond around 8:30 still. Marcus ended up stopping by around 9:00 and he helped us unload my car of everything. So Liz, Marcus, and I all just sat around and talked for a little while. Liz made some cookies for us too so we at some of those. Then around 10:00 Marcus and I left the house and we picked up Jakie and went over to cracker barrel and at a quick dinner. After that we just went over to Jackie's house and we hung out there and watched a movie *(Hook) till around 1:30. I kept falling asleep during it though. I remember waking up and having them both standing over me... I think they were watchign me sleep or something. They said I looked so peaceful. I couldn't help but doze off though.. Jakie had some really cool furry pillows that just make you sleepy. After I finally woke up Marcus gave me a ride back to Liz's house and I slept there the rest of the night. I woke up around 11:00 or so this morning and got ready to leave. Liz had to be at work around 8:00 this morning though so I wasn't able to say goodbye to her. I woke up and saw a note that she left for me on the counter. I ended up turning it over and writing her a thankyou note on the back. Just before I was about to leave, a lady from her church stopped by and she had brought some breakfast for me. (It was the Ms. Hicks.. she is the one that gave me the matress for the summer). She told me that Liz said I was going to be there and Ms Hicks decided she would bring me breakfast. That was pretty cool. I'm glad she got there before I left. The drive back home was pretty long, but smooth with no problems. I got back to campus about 2:00. Well.. that was my trip to richmond. I have some people to go meet now as they start to come back on campus from the summer. I'll write more tonight as long as the server continues running.. it is kind of having problems again.

The server is finally up.. so now I can post this:
Man.. its been three days and the server is still down. I haven't been able to blog because of it. So I decided I would just write all of them in a word document and just post them when everything is up and running. If I wait too long I won't remember anything to write down. Since the 18th I"ve been so busy with everything. Mon through Wed I worked full time and then after work I took care of buisness here at school. I've had a great time showing aarron around the campus and things as well. I took him and some of his friends to the 50cent movies on tuesday also.. he had never seen a dollar theater before so he though it was very cool. Allie and Brittney also came along and we saw "Johnny English" It was a good comedy I think. It was kind of predictable though knowing the "Mr Bean" style of movies. Then on wednesday after work I went to my apartment and got rid of all my food, by either giving it to scott or bringing some back here to our dorm. I also had to package up everything that I will be taking with me to Richmond on Friday.
Today (Being Thursday) I switched over to my part time schedule at work. I had to wake up at 6:30 because we had a breakfast to be at at 7:30 with all the Prayer Leader Guys. It was alright but I was way to tired to realize anything of what was going on. Then after that was over I went and got half of the books I need to get. I wanted to split it up and put half on check card and half on credit card. I was only able to get two used books though.. so that wasn't very cool.I ended up having to spend $152 on only half. Well anyway after I did that I had lunch with Aarron and some of his new friends that he made. Then I headed to work until 6:00. After work was where the fun began though. I got invited over to dinner to Allie and Brittney's house for dinner. They had beef stroganoff. It was very good. But once we finished eating we kind of just sat around for 15 minutes or so and hung out.. then we piled in the car for to a destination unknown. The girls tried to guess and they were right but it was their third guess. It turns out we went to a small icecream shop/diner. They had kereoke tonight there. (every thursday). They made me go up and sing with them so I did. We sang two songs. "Bye bye miss american pie" and "California dreamin" I thought we did pretty horrible but their parents said it was good.. and we didn't get booed so it might have been ok. But anyway that was the first time I had done that and I thought it was pretty fun. But anyway after we left the restaraunt we headed back to thier house and watched a short movie.. it was the newsboys movie. It was kind of weird but somewhat entertaining. I ended up leaving at around 10:45ish. Now I am just chilling here back in the dorm chatting with a couple people and thats about all I can do since the internet is down for doing any significant surfing. So I think I'll probalby just go ahead and go to bed now. I don't know when I'll be able to post this blog but hopefully it will be soon.

Today was an event filled day. I woke up at about 7:00 so I could be at breakfast by 8:00. (That was my first meal back at the marriot). Then I was required to go to campus church today since I"m a prayer leader. So I wasn't able to go to mine. I hope they managed ok without me to do powerpoint. But in the end.. they didn't take attendace or say anything important that I absolutely needed to hear. So I probably could have gone to my church anyway and it wouldn't have caused any problems. But anyway once campus church got out, we had to just hang around on the dorm and welcome any new freshmen that came in today, and help them unload and things like that. My new roomate came in today around 3:00. He seems like a pretty cool guy. I think we should get along quite well. Then at around 5:00 I went to dinner with Carmen and then I told her about having to drive to Roanoke to pick up Aaron tonight. So I asked if she wanted to come along. So it turns out that both Carmen and Kat came along with me on my drive to Roanoke. It was nice to have the company. His plane was ontime too so we left the airport around 8:30ish. Then we stopped at the mall really quick so he could pickup some supplies and then we were off on the way back to lynchburg. I had to drop Kat off at Joe and Deborah's though because she had to pickup her car. So Aaron and Carmen and I finsihed the trip to the school without her. Aaron got all setup nicely in his dorm and it seems as if he has already made a couple friends. So that was good. Then after he was all settled I met Kat back at my apartment to unlock it for her because she had to unload some stuff. She will be staying there tonight as well since I"ll be here at the dorms. So, lots of driving today and getting things all organzied and I'm pretty pooped. So I"m going to hit the sack because I have to be at work tomorrow morning still. Adios

Hey everyone.. I forgot to write a blog last night.. I fully intended to, but it slipped my mind. I was moving the rest of my things back into the dorm and was up until 1:00ish getting all setup. But I'm still pretty busy right now so I can't write one at the moment. I have to get to a meeting at 8:00. So I'll just write more tonight.

Today there was a little bit of a break at work. We were able to get two more finished then we had come in. So that is a good sign. I hope this week was the brute of the virus and we won't see too many more. Well, the rest of the night was pretty standard. I went back home after work and packed up a couple more things then headed over to liberty to drop off another load. Once I was all finished up there I headed over to the mall to get a haircut. The time had come for the hair cut. Normally I would have gotten a student discount but I found out that they only do that Monday through Thursday. But thats ok. The girl that cut my hair was pretty cute so it was worth the extra two dollars I guess. =) lol. After the hair cut. I went and met up with Will and we went to see "The League of Extraordiary Gentlemen" at the 9:30 showing. I would say it was a very good movie. Lots of action.. lots of plot.. lots of cool ideas.. however very unsatisfiying ending. I hate how they set them up for a part two so obiviously. Well anyway.. since the movie got out I've been back here packing some boxes and things.. I better get back to that and then get some shut eye before the big day tomorrow with checkin and everything at school. So... Night!

Well, today was another swamped day at work because of the new virus going around. Line of computers just seems to be getting longer and longer. They come in faster then we can pump them out. At least we haven't gotten bored lately =). Well after work today I hurried home and loaded up my van with all the stuff I packed up from last night. It was packed pretty good too.. I wouldn't have been able to put another thing in. So anyway I headed over to the campus once I was loaded up, and then did the unloading job. It took almost an hour and a half to unload everything I had in there. It took a lot longer to unload then to load because I can park 10 feet from my door at my apartment.. but at the school, I would have to climb down some stairs.. then walk about 40 feet to the enterance. And then I had to walk quite a ways down the hall once I was inside. So its quite a trip to carry 4 computers plus lots of random other stuff one peice at a time that distance. After I finally got it all in my room. I then setup everything exactly how I wanted it. (Which is how we had it last year). So I was able to get my two other webcam's back up and running once again so if you want to check that out go to my webcam page on www.jerdill.com Well I think thats enought chat for now.. its getting late I will need to head to bed soon. I brought my computer work tonight to work on it.. I think I may have gotten it to work better now. I also beta tested Halo for a while while I was here tonight. It was pretty good. I thought there would be more people online tonight though. But I guess not. It was still fun though. I'm not very good at that game though. So I died a whole lot. Well anyway.. if you haven't noticed I've been moving out the past couple nights. I already have all but my main computer unhooked and ready to go into the dorms. I'm debating on when I should take this one back in. Ok well I should probably get back home now. Its almost midnight and I'm still at work. I was downloading a bunch of windows updates onto this computer too once I got if fixed to prevent that new virus from infecting it. Its been crazy at work because of that. It just became widely known on monday and since then we've had 12 computers come in that had it... and over 3 dozen phone calls on it. I have a feeling its just going to keep getting worse. Oh well I'm going to head home now. Bye for now.

I've been in the process of moving out the past couple nights. I got to sleep last night around 2:00 and tonight it looks like it will be around 1:30. I would write more but I'm really tired. My computers aren't working right anyway, once I have enough time to work on the computers through the moving out I might get a good chance to write a more detailed post. I had to write this post from another computer and its kind of weird how it has to be done. So I'm just going to stop writing now and get to bed. I'll give a better update later this week when I get a chance. Night

Today I woke up at about 8:25. I was supposed to be at church at around 8:00 but my alarm didn't go off for some reason. So I jumped out of bed.. threw on some clothes and was out of here in about 10 minutes. I ended up getting to the church at around 8:40. I was still able to get everything done I needed to though because they were planning anything big for todays worship service. The main worship leader went on vacation this week so there was another couple that was going to do it. They just gave me the songs and they didn't really have a practice. So my lateness wasn't too bad, besides the fact I worried them that I wasn't going to show up and nobody else knew how to work the computer. But anyway.. once the quirks before service got all setup. The service went pretty smoothly. Then after the service most of the people went out for a picnic at Peaks View Park. Will and I had made some potato salad the night before and got some hot dogs and we brought those along. But in the end everyone shared everything so we defentaly didn't have a problem filling our bellys. During the picnic I got a call from Carmen asking if I could pick her up from the airport at around 4:00. So I left the picnic around 3:30. Then after I dropped Will back off at home, Carmen calls back and says her plane was cancelled so they had to re-route her to Ronoak instead. So I just went back home and spent part of the afternoon with Scott and Abbey while I did some laundry. Then at around 7:00 Carmen calls and was dropped off from a bus from Roanoke to Lynchburg at the Lynchburg Airport. So I went and picked her up then and took her to a friends house where she will stay until she can get moved into her dorm room. So I headed back home after that and I've been organizing some things so I can get started on moving things into the dorm come Tuesday. I also counted up all of my recepts again like I did at the end of last symester with all my expendatures. I still have my phone bill coming in and once that comes in I'll toatal up the bills and post the results. But I'm kinda tired now from all the hustle and bustle from today. So I am going strait to bed now.

Today I had a great relaxing day. I woke up a little earlier then normal to make some breakfast. I made some scrambled eggs and bacon and toast for Becky and I. She was too tired to drive home last night so I let her stay here. I just got out my sleeping bag and slept in the living room and I gave her my bed. So we ate breakfast around 9:00 this morning. I had to head to work after that though. So becky just stayed here and watched a movie and hung out. She went over to Will's around 2:00 though so she was gone when I got back from work. We played games almost all day at work because there was nothing to work on. So that made work rather relaxing today. Then right after work I headed over to Will's house. Becky was there when I got there still and we just hung out the rest of the night and watched movies and things. We watched James Bond "007 die another day" first. I thought it was a great action filled movie. I wasn't able to catch the last 10-15 minutes of it though because I had to run home really quick at around 6:15 because I had some people coming over at 6:30 that wanted to look at the apartment. They were a really nice couple that will be getting married in October. They had brought both of thier parents and one of the sets grandparents along to see it too. So there was eight of them here to look at it. It was fun to show them around though. They were only here for about 30 minutes though. After they had left I went ahead and drove back over to Will's house for the rest of the night. Kat was there too when I got there. We watched Agent Cody banks after that and then the Bone collector. I got pretty tired though and I kind of dozed off during the bone collector. So after that I decided I better come back and get some sleep. I have to wake up early for worship team practice again in the morning. So enough yaking from me.. I think I'll head that way. Night!
